I really did not like my experience here. The owner speaks to you in a very rude manner, which is confusing and off putting since I make an effort to speak to people with respect. She called me out on the first day of class for misunderstanding the way I used the term alpha to try and describe my dogs behavior. People are here to learn, but it’s important that you understand how the way you speak to people effects them. All my interactions with the owner left me with a negative feeling. The training itself felt very lacking in advice. There wasn’t anything new that I learned or anything specific to help my dog out in situations. It was just to continue giving treats on walks and avoiding other dogs. Which I already apply. I understand that not much can be done once behaviors have been with a dog a while but for the amount of money I spent, I expected to receive valuable advice.

I enjoyed coming to these classes. Susan is no nonsense when it comes to puppy training. She tells it like it is, and makes sure you understand what’s important. I learned quite a lot from these classes, and if you do the homework and the practice at home, you’ll get even more out of class. So cute watching the little puppies run around together too!

We have taken both of our poodles to the Middle School class and have been delighted the experience and results. Susan gives very practical, expert and relatable advice and really helped us get both of our pups off to the right start. I'm sure I was being trained more than our pups, buts that's the point right?! Thanks so much, I wholeheartedly recommend.

I am visiting Seattle for a few days and staying near by. My dog pooped in the neighborhood and the closest poop bin was outside Paws 4 Training — I asked the woman (I believe who must’ve been the owner) and was met with unprofessional and quite frankly rude behavior. I normally never leave poor reviews but this interaction was shocking and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can’t say the training itself is poor but this woman’s behavior certainly was.
