FirstBarkSusan and team provided an excellent experience. We went in for Puppy Kindergarten when our pup was 9 weeks old and took home solid foundational tips for encouraging the behaviors we want to see. Also a great opportunity to socialize your pup with other dogs before they receive their final vaccine. Easily worth the money, and we are already enrolled for the Middle School course.

Great for puppy training but NOT for older dogs or re-homed dog training
Susan is an experienced trainer holding small classes in her Wallingford space. We enjoyed our puppy training and playtime! We learned to train her with positive reinforcement and the techniques have worked well with our doggie.

Susan is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable on dogs, their behavior, and how to train effectively. Not to mention my pup loved it and got to play with other puppies and exert all that puppy energy (making for a nice quiet evening afterwards). Definitely recommend Puppy Kindergarten for all new puppy owners.

We are first time puppy owners and wanted to start training early on. We've taken our dog, Bento, to multiple classes with Susan as well as the puppy day camp since we first got him. We've had nothing but positive experiences at an affordable price. It is clear how much Susan and her team love dogs. Bento loved to attend class and the focus on positive reinforcement is exactly what we wanted with his training. It's been wonderful to see him grow, and Susan and her team have been key parts of that. We hope to take him to more specialty classes in the future!
