Paws On The Ground Dog Training

Ahhhh, i don’t even know where to start!! Kristin & Cory had my 2 year cane corso for a board & train & i was freaked out being gone from him for so long, they made sure to reassure me everything was going to be fine & they would take the best care of my fur baby!! Sent progress videos/pictures & just happy ones to let me know my baby is still the same but just trained correctly! He has learned so much, it’s so amazing the work they do. Even after the training they are still willing to help with any annoying thing i may text about. Kenzi & Kellen have also helped with the progress as well (i have a stubborn boy). It’s just so amazing how much they all actually care about the dog & about how you care for the dog after the training is done. I can not thank these four wonderful people enough!!

In a word, the training provided by "Paws on the Ground" is AMAZING! Having two 9 month old English Bull Terrier "sibling" puppies means proper training is a must! We did our research and decided to take our babies (Zero and Peppa) to "Paws on the Ground" in New Port Richey FL. Prior to starting training, I spoke to both Kenzi and Kellen several times to explain the issues that were most important to me. They listened and, based on my concerns, recommended a three week training program. During the training, we were provided updates, videos, and photos. We could also reach out to Kenzi and Kellen anytime if we had any questions. On the last day of training, Kenzi and Kellen spent time with my wife and I thoroughly explaining how to use the tools they provide to continue the training at home. They then brought our puppies out and worked with us on working with our babies at home. The transformation of our two puppies has been incredible! On walks they are so well behaved! No more pulling on the lead. They patiently walk next to us on a slack lead! They are so much better behaved in the house! It's actually safe to sit on the couch and eat a snack without being attacked! But most important to us is that our Bull Terriers are still Bull Terriers with their crazy personalities! I'll admit that leaving our puppies with strangers for three weeks was very hard. But after completing the program and spending time with Kenzi and Kellen, I could see how passionate they are about what they do and how much they care about the dogs they train. I would recommend Paws on the Ground to everyone who wants to have a well-mannered pet!

Where can I start? I am a dog mom of 4, we recently rescued a Pittie- Rocco- and we wanted to give him the best chance at success in his life especially due to his breed. After researching many trainers, I found POTG. I spoke with Kellen at length- the thought of sending our boy away for 3 weeks was heart breaking! He re assured me and calmed my fears. After a couple altercations with the neighbors dog who continuously charges the fence which caused Rocco to lose his mind- I signed him up. Kristen and Corey were our assigned trainers. The are excellent! Our boy who had zero training is like a new dog! He sits, heels, places , and has zero issues now. He stays away from the fence when the attack dog next door comes out. After the 3 weeks they do a training with the owners and they are there for you for life! We love that Kristen and Cory will be a part of our family now! We have already signed Rocco up for boarding when we go away in April. They will forever be a part of Rocco’s life and we couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend them- they are patient , kind and love and care for your dog like it’s their own. And trust me- I am a protective picky dog mamma. My dogs are my life! POTG should get 10 stars!!!!
