In a free play environment like doggy daycare, it is quite normal for a dog to get a scratch from a toenail every now and again while they run, wrestle and play. After a full week with us, an active dog like Baxter would have to be isolated completely to prevent this. If you like, we can provide references to more traditional boarding options if this is preferable to you. Also, if you feel Baxter's groom was not sufficient, we would be happy to re-do it at absolutely no cost. Further, any rudeness you may have experienced is unacceptable and if you notify us directly about the employee you had an issue with, it will be addressed. Thank you for your comments.

We declined to temperament test your dog because we feel it is too risky for both our employees and our dogs to "test" dogs who have a history of aggression and/or excessive fear. Our policy is that daycare is not a place to socialize dogs with "issues." Daycare is strictly a place for already well socialized dogs to come and play. We apologize if these practices are not in line with what you were looking for, but it is truly for the betterment of the dogs.
