About PAWS'itive Pals Dog Training
We use paws'itive reinforcement to reach even the most poorly mannered dogs. We cultivate the trust of the dog to facilitate a teaching method for the “furrent” (furparent/owner) and the canine companion. There are numerous methods that are used in training our furry life-partners, however we believe that dogs primary focus is on the resource; thus we use paws'itive reinforcement of food, touch, and verbal praise. When you join the Pal Pack you can feel assured that you are gaining knowledge as to how to work with your furfamily with compassion and care, with respect and reverence, and most of all in the language that your dog is speaking until they learn your language.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My husband and I adopted a dog who definitely needed training. He was horrible walking on a leash and needed general obedience training. Lauren taught us so many valuable things that have changed not just our dog but also us. He now walks at out sides while wearing his gentle leader, knows basic commands, doesn’t jump on people and so much more. We had a wonderful experience and are truly thankful to have had an opportunity to attend the Basic Obedience classes.
My pup struggled from fear based aggression and I didn't know what else to do for her. After trusting Lauren, I realized that my pup would be able to relax around other dogs and humans and enjoy herself like she used to. Just after a few sessions Hazelnut was happier and found herself playing with 40 other dogs and was happy to meet new people. I highly recommend this place!

In her training classes, Lauren taught us the skills we needed to handle our dogs at home and in the community. Her guidance was invaluable. We now have two dogs who can be obedient and happy in almost any scenario. For dogs that are boarded, Lauren posts daily pictures and videos to the business's FB page. Knowing our dogs are safe and having the time of their lives really does make it easier to leave. If you love your dogs and think it's important someone goes the extra mile for their well-being, this is the business for you. We highly recommend PAWS'itive Pals.
