About PAWS'itive Pals Dog Training
We use paws'itive reinforcement to reach even the most poorly mannered dogs. We cultivate the trust of the dog to facilitate a teaching method for the “furrent” (furparent/owner) and the canine companion. There are numerous methods that are used in training our furry life-partners, however we believe that dogs primary focus is on the resource; thus we use paws'itive reinforcement of food, touch, and verbal praise. When you join the Pal Pack you can feel assured that you are gaining knowledge as to how to work with your furfamily with compassion and care, with respect and reverence, and most of all in the language that your dog is speaking until they learn your language.

About how much is it to train a young large dog?
Basic Obedience is $200 Behavioral Modification is $300 Daytime Socialization Classes $35 for a well mannered pal, and $65 for behavioral modification.

Lauren and staff take excellent care of our dog while he plays with his friends every week and gets his energy out! They pay special attention and I highly trust her knowledge and judgement! I can't recommend their business and wonderful service enough!

Friend completed Lauren's basic obedience class. He is currently attending pawsitive socialization which has been excellent for him as well live in the middle of no where. With Lauren's basic training tools I have been training as service dog. He is coming along great and he is ready for his next level of service dog training with the help of Lauren. Here is a quick little recent story: We were recently in Santa Cruz where he ran into the street. Thank goodness he didn't get hit by a car. I spent the next 2 days teaching him the word STOP! I would run at the street and give him the command to stop at the curb. Three weeks later we were swimming in the lake. It was obvious that bear had recently been on the bank. Friend got out of the water and started sniffing then he started pacing and pacing. My heart dropped cause I knew he going to bolt into the forest after the bear. I yelled STOP...WAIT...LEAVE IT...COME !!!!! He stopped in his tracks, turned and ran back to me jumping back into the water. Thank you Lauren!!!! He is such a good boy and is eager to learn. We look forward to his next level of training.

Best boarding for dogs! My lab Luka loves staying at Pawsitive Pals. We’ve been boarding here for over 3 years and there is no other boarding facility that compares. We love this facility so much that we drive 50min one way just to have the peace of mind that our dog is well cared for. Luka just stayed there for 2 weeks while we were overseas for vacation and we did not worry about him at all. Lauren and Adam go above and beyond and I know he is always in good hands.
