Pawpano Beach Dog Training

I'm not a big review writer person, in fact this might be my first one ever, but I had such a great experience at Pawpano Beach Dog Training I felt I needed to spread the word. After researching a lot of dog trainers in the area, and a few out of State, Skye and Pawpano Beach DogTraining quickly become the front runner. And after receiving an unsolicited recommendation from friends, who had no idea I was even considering Skye, I knew it was the right choice. Rae, aka The People”s Princess and best friend to all even those she hasn’t met yet, recently went through the three week Go Anywhere Dog trainiing program with Skye. Where she learned basic obedience and proper manners in public, through daily field trips to local establishments, parks, and other cool places. Skye sends daily text and video updates and any questions are always answered in a timely manner. I cannot recommend Skye enough. She’s strict and firm with the animals and at the same time sweet and kind with them. Most important of all, Rae learned so much during her time at Pawpano Beach Dog Training and she thoroughly enjoyed being there.

Leaving Bandit in someone else’s care for three weeks was not a decision we took lightly — but choosing Skye and her board and train program turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we met, it was clear that this was more than just training — it was about building trust, understanding, and a real connection with our dog. Throughout the three weeks, Bandit wasn’t just learning commands or behaviors — he was growing in confidence, developing a more calm mindset, feeling safe, and being genuinely cared for every single day. We received updates, videos, and insights that reassured us our pup was in loving, capable hands. When we reunited, the transformation was undeniable — not just in obedience, but in calmness, focus, and the bond that had deepened between us thanks to the foundation laid during camp. We’re beyond grateful for the time, intention, and effort that went into every moment of Bandit’s experience. Thank you for loving our dog like your own, and for setting us all up for success moving forward. We cannot recommend Skye and Pawpano Beach Dog Training highly enough.

We took our 1-year-old Goldendoodle, Poppy, to Skye for a 3-week board and train after being referred by several people who had nothing but amazing things to say. Poppy’s improvement in just three weeks was beyond anything we could have imagined. Before finding Skye, we had taken Poppy to in-person training at other places, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to achieve any real or lasting results. She’s naturally very friendly and energetic, but struggled with leash pulling, jumping on people, barking at the door or at dogs she couldn’t go play with, and just a general lack of neutrality around people, dogs, and other animals. After her time with Skye, we saw a complete transformation in her behavior. It’s been truly night and day. We were initially nervous about leaving Poppy for three weeks, but Skye eased our concerns with daily updates, including pictures and videos, so we could see her progress firsthand. That level of communication made a huge difference and gave us a lot of peace of mind. We’re so grateful for the care, attention, and expertise Skye gave to Poppy!

I came to Skye with my 1.5 year old Maltipoo, Lucky, after being referred by my friend who recently took his dog to her for a 3 week board and train. Lucky had severe separation anxiety (huge mommas boy), reactivity with dogs, and just in general needed to learn how to have a calm mindset and manners with people. Before Skye, I had met with a ton of trainers working at large companies but none seemed to be a good fit for lucky. I knew he’d require very personal 1v1 training with someone he would be comfortable with. When we first met with Skye, I was instantly relieved to see that it was just her and she was the one doing the training. She was so knowledgeable and evaluated lucky's behavior and came up with a plan specific to him. I myself had separation anxiety from Lucky but she sent me daily updates with pics and videos so I could follow along with luckys progress every step of the way. This gave me such ease of mind and made the time apart so much easier. Walking lucky used to be the worst part of my day. We did our first walk since coming back home and it’s absolutely insane the difference. Before, he was tugging, all over the place, barking and lunging at other dogs, etc. Now, he does a perfect heel, he follows and listens to me, and with just one correction he knows what is acceptable/what’s not. Skye truly has changed both mine and luckys lives for the better inside and outside of the house. It is also extremely calming to know that I can always reach out to her with any questions, concerns, or even boarding. You can tell she really cares about your pup and their success, and she even took excellent care of his coat/kept up with grooming (he came back even softer). She is truly an amazing trainer, person, and friend. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with their furry friend. Attached is a photo Skye sent me on their last fiend trip together at the beach! I know lucky is going to miss the heck out of her too!!!

We are absolutely blown away by our experience with Skye at Pawpano Beach Dog Training! Our two dachshunds, Richard and Linguine, just finished their 3-week board and train program—and the transformation is nothing short of incredible. Richard used to be barky and food aggressive, and Linguine really struggled with confidence and showed aggression toward other dogs. Fast forward three weeks, and they’re completely different dogs. They're calm, responsive to commands, no longer reactive around food or other dogs, and so much more at ease in public settings. I was definitely hesitant about being away from my pups for that long, but Skye made the process easy. She was incredibly communicative, sending daily updates, videos, and photos so we felt completely in the loop. It was clear how much she cared about our dogs and their progress. We’re so glad we chose this program—it’s made a huge difference in our dogs’ behavior and quality of life, and in ours. Can’t recommend Skye and her team enough!
