Pawpano Beach Dog Training

I sent Gus to training as he approached his 2nd birthday to work on leash manners, reacting to every dog, some barking and separation anxiety. Skye did a wonderful job with him. Firstly, it’s clear how much she cares about the dogs in her care which helped settle my nerves about Gus being away for 3 weeks. Secondly, she is such a professional. Gus just got back so we’re settling in with our new ways but he’s doing really well so far. I would highly recommend Skye and Pawpano Beach training. Your dog will be in good hands and come home with great fundamentals for you to work from. Training for this excitable, high energy bernedoodle will continue for a while but I knew I needed help and am glad I chose Pawpano Beach Training.

We had such a fantastic experience with training for our Vizsla mix, Layla. We adopted her 5 years ago from a tough situation that left her with a skittish and untrustworthy disposition. We were preparing for an international move to London and we were looking for a trainer to help her build some confidence. The training was structured, practical, and tailored to Layla’s personality. We saw huge improvements in her focus, recall, leash manners, and overall responsiveness. Even more importantly, we learned how to communicate with her in a way that builds trust and consistency. Layla is happier, more confident, and so much easier to manage both at home and out on walks. The guidance we received felt supportive and realistic — not overwhelming — and we’ve continued to see progress even after sessions ended. Highly recommend to anyone with an active or strong-willed dog. Skye's approach and program is different that any of the other trainers we evaluated and it was perfect for us.

We can’t say enough good things about Skye and the amazing work she did with our rescue dog, Riley. We rescued Riley 8 weeks prior to sending her with Skye, we had a trip planned for over and year and I was very stressed about what to do with her because of how fearful and reactive she was with other people. Then I found Skye and she offered a board and train program that just aligned perfectly with our needs as well as our trip. While we were away Skye provided constant updates and check ins along with videos of her progress! Before training, Riley was extremely fearful and would lunge at people and other dogs. Walks were stressful, and even interactions at home especially with my boyfriend were a challenge. I couldn’t even leave the house without her having a complete meltdown and reacting at him which caused a lot of stress. Skye worked wonders! She helped Riley build confidence and gave us the tools we needed to support her and she is now no longer reactive! She also made incredible progress with Riley’s barking, and now walks are actually enjoyable with both of our dogs. There is just an overal calmness now and no one feels on edge which I could not be more grateful for! The board and train program was absolutely worth it. Riley came home calmer, more confident, and happier. We’re so grateful for Skye’s patience, expertise, and genuine care for our dog. If you’re struggling with a reactive or fearful pup, we can’t recommend Skye enough! She’s a little place queen and we love it!

Can I give 10 stars? Skye and her team (Ein the Australian shepherd included) worked wonders for our VERY reactive female Frenchie, Arya. Arya is 6 years old and living in Miami Beach, we encounter dogs all the time and Arya would lose control. Luckily, being small allowed us to pick her up and put her in “air jail” but that isn’t a life for a dog! Skye changed all that with her 3 week board and train program. Her training skills are unmatched! She gave Arya, and us so much confidence and the ability to spend real time with her outside without having to worry about her behavior. She also worked on her territorial indoor skills too! Arya has transformed. I cannot thank Skye enough. Just wow! It’s an investment and 100% worth it!
