Pavlov Dog Training - Portland

Miracle Workers. Our Sheepadoodle puppy Franklin was a real problem child. Walking him was a chore. Not fun at all. He'd lunge at people wanting to play, pull towards other dogs. Worse yet, he'd flat out stop. He'd sit down or roll on his back like he was protesting the walk. When people came to visit, he'd jump all over them. He spent two weeks with Kylah and he's a complete gentleman. I saw a neighborhood friend the other day and she was astounded - she said it's like a brand new dog. Couldn't agree more. His walking pace is perfect, he listens to commands, he does Park It when we get home which makes putting away groceries a snap, he STAYS. Walking him is a pure joy as he trots alongside us. Not only do they train him at their place, Kylah did 2 follow up visits to ensure the behavior is maintained in Franklin's home environment. He was so excited to see her when she came over so he absolutely loved the training. Not only is Franklin ship shape, but we are trained as well so the action/coaching is consistent, a key for long term success. We had invested in training at another places. None of it worked. Kylah is Dr. Doolittle come to life. We were at our wits end and now he's better than I ever could have hoped. Other owners are jealous- 'dang, how is that dog so well behaved while mine lunges and barks like a maniac.' Simple, we took ours to PAVLOV. Well worth the investment. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

We had tried almost everything: two dog trainers, online research and an online course. With each we saw a marginal improvement, but still struggled with problematic behaviors with our big lab. Appa (2 year old lab) would bark at people outside our home and at house guests. I’m so thankful we found Pavlov. Kylah is professional and kind, and I knew Appa was in good hands. We loved the update videos during his stay. We were amazed when we went to pick Appa up. He heeled on walks and listened to commands (sit, stay). He also learned “park it” which is where he stays on his bed until we release him. This has been a really helpful tool! We also learned some things that helped us see Appa’s perspective so that we can set him up for success. Thank you Pavlov, and thank you Kylah. We have the best dog.

Meredith and Kylah are so talented, professional and kind. We sent our “ok boy” French bulldog Hank for a two week board and train with Meredith and he came back with the best manners, independence and obedience. I then boarded Hank for a few stays when I was out of town with ease knowing he would continue to build onto his skills and be so well taken care of and cared for. About 2 months after board and train Hank went back for the finale of off leash with Kylah and we now the THE BEST BOY. We loved the picture and video check ins as well as the texting abilities and responses. We are back in AZ and he’s a local favorite at parks, patios and neighborhood walks. We are so lucky to have found Pavlov and I can’t thank or praise Meredith and Kylah enough.
