Pat's Pack Dog Training

Hands down best dog trainer out there. Before finding Pat, I had been to four other dog trainers and did a board and train with my dog Benny. While he was great in the house, no one was able to actually train him for the real world with distractions. After three weeks with Pat, Benny came a changed dog. He goes everywhere with me now and I am always getting compliments on how well trained he is. Our relationship is much better as I finally have a way to communicate with Benny effectively. I refer everyone I know with a dog to Pat for training and can't believe the amount of money I wasted on others before finding him.

Pat is an excellent dog trainer. When I got my first dog ever as an adult with no experience in dog ownership I knew I was going to need assistance. My miniature dachshund and I needed help with walking on a leash, basic training commands, separation anxiety when left in playpen, socialization with larger dogs and random barking. It was a long list but after the first visit Pat made to my home I noticed a huge difference! He really helped me understand my dog’s psychology so I could form a great relationship with my puppy while setting healthy boundaries. I couldn’t believe the instant transformation in undesirable behaviors! I was so grateful I found him early-on and after trying two other trainers I thought he provided the best value. He came to my home and we planned excursions based on my specific needs. The visit at the home was clutch because we sorted out a few basic set ups that needed improvement (mesh for exterior fence, play pen location, crate set up, etc) that proved to be complete game changers! Private hour sessions were perfect for us, since longer courses offered by other trainers would result in diminished returns when my puppy would get fatigued from training. Pat is personable and patient with the humans he “trains” as well and I found this to be his best characteristic. I plan on using him for pet boarding when I travel since he developed a bond with my puppy over the course of our sessions together.
