Pat's Pack Dog Training

We did a 2-week board and train, for our 1.5 year old Malinois, Duke. BEST decision we've ever made. Pat from Pat's Pack was incredible and truly changed the way we interact with our dog. Duke had a wild start from being rescued from a backyard breeder, surviving Parvo, and healing from a rough dog attack. I became hesitant to take him outside (other than to quickly pee and go on secure car rides). Over 6 months time, I found myself struggling to take him on walks, be alone with the kids, keep him off furniture, prepare for the arrival of our new baby, etc. Duke had been to trainers in the past and did great but I was always missing the part where I got to learn and train on how to manage and maintain the skills Duke had learned. Pat took the time to train Duke and then show me how to implement those tools and really keep them going on my own, once he got home and Pat wasn't around. I started by calling Pat for a consult and he instantly caught my attention with the confidence in his voice and learning that he has Mals of his own. We've done consults with other companies that immediately shut us down because Duke's intact, or he's too aggressive, or they don't accept Malinois', or he's too energetic. The list goes on and the defeat was so real. Pat embraced the challenge and not only taught Duke how to be a dog again (playing freely, following commands, staying off tables/couches, reducing his leash reactivity, taking him in to the community, introducing him to kids/dogs, etc.) but he helped us understand how to better lead our pack. He showed us how to manage our fears of having Duke in the community, build up our confidence, and really help Duke to be the best companion. We're truly grateful to Pat and all the work he put into this training. He went above and beyond helping us and our kids to understand behavioral techniques and learn to overcome our stressors from dealing with a crazy and reactive dog. Duke had all the potential in the world but we never would have gotten to this point without Pat. 100% if you have concerns, fears, or challenges with your pup, call Pat and share that, so you can feel comfortable overcoming any obstacles. We're eternally grateful and plan to continue with his training to build on these skills and really challenge Duke to become ever more amazing. We're so excited to have our adorable and goofy Mal back and be able to love him, walk him, and have the best companion ever.

Pat is absolutely awesome ! Did a two week board and train with Pat for our 6 month spunky Bernadoodle pup . Was so hard leaving our little guy but Pat made it a breeze, our pup had a blast and training produced top notch results!!
