Passion Fur Paws

We started our 5 month old Dalmatian to train with Crystal and staff. Since doing so we have seen our Pup grow and learn a ton! We went through Puppy school, and have since graduated to Level 2 training. The classes all build on each other, and the Trainers do a great job describing what the goal of each training skill is and how it will be built on in the future, as well as how each drill can be used in the real world. The staff also does a great job slowing things down, and stepping in when/if your pup needs assistance on the task. Overall, we are VERY happy we have found the class and look forward to our pup going through the multiple levels of training on the way to earning our AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification.

Haiti & Patches have been going to Passion Fur Paws since they were babies(Just over a year) I love the progress that we have achieved with both of our fur Baby’s. I can’t believe how responsive our pups are now after a year of training. Patches is close to being a graduate of service training a very proud moment it will be. Haiti has overcome some very high anxiety issues that I never thought we could get past. Haiti, because of my busy schedule is about to start service training. Very excited to see how she progresses with this new adventure. We’re even considering getting a third Shephard pup early next year.

After viewing Crystal’s online pages and watching her videos. I decided to give this a try. We’ve never done an obedience class before. On August 20, 2020 was our 1st meeting. Haiti and I went to Cascade park to meet with Crystal. My first impression she’s professional, asked what I was expecting from her and her class, what I was expecting from Haiti. Our first homework was the command “look” which I have never heard of. Let me tell you it’s a lifesaver! We use it hourly! Haiti is super-fast and smart! Her recall is so fast she’ll almost knock you off your feet! She catches on to commands quickly. Haiti is now working on her advanced CGC! After watching what she’s accomplished with Haiti I believed she was the right person for my baby Patches. Patches started at 2.5 months old on he started obedience training on September 24, 2020. He was too big for the puppy class so he went straight to the big dogs. She pushed both of us out of our comfort zone by having us enter into obedience trails in July of 2021 to hosting her own in August. I was beyond nervous nothing I have ever done before nor have thought of. But we did it and loved it! Patches new adventure is being trained as my service dog; he’s almost done. Crystal and I have spent a great amount of time together as it takes a lot of time to train a service dog. We have gotten to know each other on a personal level. So as much as she has pushed me out of my comfort zone with dog training. I have also pushed her into believing in herself as a small business owner and the things I know she’s capable of. Where I can see her business going just like she can see where my potential is in dog training, I see her potential as a dog trainer, business owner as a dog rescue! Yours truly, Missy Killgrove
