Pals Dog Training

We are so thankful to have found Pals Dog Training! Our dog, Rocky, was a rescue with obvious signs of early trauma/maltreatment that caused various forms of acting out. We ALMOST resorted to engaging in negative training (shock collar/fear) to drive behavior, but were lucky enough to find Dominic and Pals! Thank goodness! The Come-when-Called training, combined with additional positive training and techniques, are extremely effective and were exactly what we (and Rocky) needed. Even though Rocky is very protective around new people, Dominic had him eating out of his hand (literally) within five minutes and they are now best buds for life! Highly recommend Pals Dog Training, Dominic and Oceane!

Dominic has a true gift! He is very patient - more so with us as the owners! - and has a special way with dogs. Montego LOVED him and responded so well to his approachable training. He made the training accessible and comfortable for us, with easy "homework" each week to practice. We appreciated how he heard our hopes and goals for Montego, and the time period we needed to see improvement in. He was also very cognizant of Monty's dietary restrictions, and aware of the different styles my husband and I had when it came to working with Monty. We would HIGHLY recommend Dominic and know that the skills we learned can be translated to our next pup, but we will definitely call Dominic again for future help!

Dominic is a MIRACLE WORKER! He worked with my 1 1/2 yr old Springer Spaniel, and just as importantly, he worked with me too obviously. When I started working with him I had a dog whose sole intent was to rip my arm out of my shoulder when we went for walks. After just 2 do-it-for-you sessions at busy Wash Park I have a dog who will happily heal on command, ignores other dogs and people, and does not pull when I let him walk free. After another session at my house following the park sessions, I have a dog who knows how to sit and gently greet people rather than try to tackle them like Von Miller when he meets them. One of the best investments I’ve ever made in my life, I cannot recommend working with him enough. I know now I will have a very well-behaved dog for the rest of his life. Next is working on tricks!
