Pack of Paws Professional Dog Training is a full-service dog training facility located in Charlton, MA. We offer Group Dog Training Classes for all levels of obedience and many sports and Private Dog Training Lessons in our training center, as well as Seminars and other Special Events. The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. The Canine Good Citizen Program teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. Working with your dog to teach the CGC skills offers a variety of benefits for you and your pet. In addition to improving your dog’s manners, training also helps enhance the bond between you and your pet. Our Confidence Building courses are packed full of innovative, easy-to-implement techniques to help your dog overcome their issues with fear and anxiety. If your dog is afraid of people, other dogs, cowers at new experiences then this class is perfect for you.
- Reactivity training

This 6 week class is designed for those dogs who react in a seemingly aggressive manner to other dogs or people particularly while on leash. If your dog barks at, lunges at or demonstrates chaotic behavior in the presence of other dogs or people, this class is perfect for you. We teach alternate behaviors that help the dog dismiss any distraction in his environment including other dogs and people.
Reactive Dog Level 2 will help you and your dog continue to build skills toward calm walks with other dogs and people.

Yes, we do offer classes that will promote a lovely therapy dog team, we offer evaluations through the Pet Partners program. At Pack of Paws it's not so much about training the dog it's about training the human to become the trainer! I've had many years of success and relationship building between myself and my Pack! You won't find anyone better than Donna Savoie and her team of dedicated trainers. I've done Basic obedience on through agility and nose work. I've also had extensive training with her reactive university program for 2 very reactive dogs, successfully getting these 2 very aggressive large dogs to live in peace with each other. There isn't enough good words in the dictionary to describe Donna Savoie and her team! Thank you Donna!
The owner is so kind and she does a great job. Her expertise and knowledge on dogs is the best around. I even had my car break down once after a class and she helped me out. It shows she cares for animals and people too. Highly recommend her training!

Avoid Board and Train with Pack of Paws - We left our dog with Pack of Paws for a couple of weeks with an ask to focus on recall and she came back with no noticeable difference in her abilities. In fact she came back emaciated (15% loss in weight) and we had to double her food for the following weeks to get her back to a normal (trim) weight. In addition, despite promising good communication and care, we got only two notifications during the entire 15 day period (one we had to request), no videos and no evidence of training. We were also told that "sometimes she was in a crate for 4+ hours" while the trainer trained other dogs, and "sometimes she was left in the car". We contacted the owner about this and she got very defensive offering only a zoom call to go over the training. This might be a great training facility, but boarding with them was not a great choice for us (or our dog).
