This 6 week class is designed for those dogs who react in a seemingly aggressive manner to other dogs or people particularly while on leash. If your dog barks at, lunges at or demonstrates chaotic behavior in the presence of other dogs or people, this class is perfect for you. We teach alternate behaviors that help the dog dismiss any distraction in his environment including other dogs and people.
Reactive Dog Level 2 will help you and your dog continue to build skills toward calm walks with other dogs and people.

Yes, we do offer classes that will promote a lovely therapy dog team, we offer evaluations through the Pet Partners program. Someone recently asked me if I would recommend pack for paws and I told them no. My dog Balto got training here when he was a puppy, Derrick and the Staff were extremely friendly (hence the two stars) but the Owner is rude and not understanding at all. I paid for a bundle deal for Obedience 1 + 2 which costs me around 300$ and we attended all the obedience 1 classes with Derrick which was great. I ended up having Surgery which took me out for a couple months so the 300$ training for Obedience 1 + 2 expired. I called and spoke to someone who told me I had to talk with the owner which was fine. When I spoke to the Owner Diana she said that I can make it up but the days her classes were either fell on a day I had class or a day I couldn’t make it. I asked her if I could just get a refund for the difference (because I only did Obedience 1 and not obedience 2) and she told me no “this is a business”. I understand that refunds can’t normally be issued but in some circumstances, they should me allowed . I should’ve made this review a while ago but here it is. I would strongly consider other places to get your dog trained.

As a professional dog trainer, I have extremely high standards for the trainers and facilities I take my own dogs to. Pack of Paws is a true gem in an unregulated industry. Their trainers are extremely knowledgable, experienced, and provide great instruction not only for the dogs but also for their handlers. Their facility is clean, well equipped, and run in a safe and professional manner. I have been taking lessons and attending classes there for over 5 years now and I cannot recommend them enough.

We have had an exceptional experience being trained to be better dog parents to our 22 month old Doberman. Nicole has provided great insight on how our reactive dog is thinking about and has provided fun activities to help curb our dogs desire to be impulsive. We all enjoy our training sessions and have become more confident in training our dog.
