Opportunity Barks Behavior & Training

Siara, Ashlee, John, and the whole OPBarks team are absolutely incredible!!! Joy, my Bernedoodle puppy, has made so much progress over the past couple of months. She is calmer, happier, more emotionally regulated, and so much better at handling everyday situations. We have worked on greetings, heel, loose leash walking, place, off-leash recall, “get it,” “drop it,” impulse control, manners, and helping her settle as a relaxed, fulfilled dog. The biggest difference is not just that Joy knows more commands. It is that she is becoming a better version of herself. She is learning how to calm down, make better choices, and enjoy life as a more confident and well-balanced dog. The OPBarks team is patient, knowledgeable, kind, and extremely effective. They clearly understand dogs, but they also do a great job teaching owners how to communicate better with their dogs. I am so thankful for everything they have done for Joy. Highly, highly recommend OPBarks to anyone who wants excellent dog training and a happier, better-mannered dog!

Janet and the team at Opportunity Barks are fantastic. I brought my 11 week old puppy for the Puppy Foundations class and found the classes and support to be outstanding. Janet specifically worked to understand our dynamic and how to implement training for each dog's specific temperament and level. I felt so supported and my (many) questions were always answered thoughtfully and with so much care. For puppy training, the people need feedback just as much as the dogs and Janet was instrumental in helping me to understand what's working and what's not and how I can improve and learn. If there was a Foundations 2.0 class for pups, I would sign up in a heartbeat.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My beautiful Teddy Roosevelt and I are about to celebrate our 1 year anniversary with Opportunity Barks and Farm Dog. It's the best decision we ever made! And yes 'we'. While it's benefit is certainly for my Teddy, I feel equally grateful for the team and people that work at Opportunity Barks. Especially our 'Aunt Chelsea' :) It's like a family there and they treat your baby as if they were their own. Grateful for all of you! And if that picture isn't pure joy, I don't know what is.

We had a great experience with Opportunity Barks. We did the private lessons for our very stubborn but smart Malinois/Pittie mix and the amount she learned was wonderful. I was unable to walk her on a leash without some major pulling. Through training and helping to find the right leash combo for her we are doing so much better! They were patient and understanding with both myself and my pup, answered every question and were so flexible with us. I cant wait to be able to send her to the farm school cause I think our pup will love it! Highly recommend!
