On The Spot Dog Training

When I got my 8-week-old mini Aussie shepherd, I wanted to start his training as early as possible to head off behavior problems before they start. I am so glad I found Lisa! Having her come to my home was such a convenience, as I do not want to take my puppy outside the home more than necessary until he has all his immunizations. From the first week, working with Lisa was such a pleasure. She was so kind and patient—and persistent—with my puppy. By the second week he was very happy to see her again. Lisa has such a natural rapport with dogs. Her instincts are lightning fast and she gently corrects distraction and bad behavior in your dog before it can get out of control. But the most valuable thing about Lisa is how she coaches you into training your pup so you can continue on your own after every session. As she teaches your pup new commands, she clearly explains the What, the How, and the Why of everything, and answers your probing questions with ease and confidence. She will also point out common pitfalls to avoid. At the end of each session, she gives you homework sheets that explain everything that was gone over that day, just in case you need reminders. Bodhi has quickly learned sit, down, stand, come, leave it, drop it, stay, and others. Pro tip: use cheerios for training, like Lisa does! I was using Bodhi’s regular kibble for the first few weeks and wondered why he wasn’t performing as well for me as he was for her. Then I picked up a box of cheerios, and bam, it was suddenly like I was Lisa. :) I am already planning to use On The Spot again when Bodhi becomes an unruly adolescent. He’s going to need help with leash training, which we only just got started with today on our last session. I can’t wait to add on to Bodhi’s repertoire in a few months! On the Spot Dog Training is the Best Dog Training I have found ......and I have tried quite a few. Lisa has lots of experience with dogs and is excellent with them. She cares and wants what is best for your dog as well as for you the owner. She has lots of good ideas and if one thing doesn't work she tries something else. She get's Sparky's attention immediately.....he loves to see her and work with her. Lisa will get the results you want if you are willing to do the work .......
