I have a problem with my puppy, sometimes it seems like she gets the idea that she's gonna do what she wants to do, when she wants to do it and absolutely refuses to obey any commands I give her. (At least the ones I have made an attempt to teach)

That sounds like a typical pup. Busy and easily distracted. Always make certain your pup truly understands what you want before doing any type of correction. We would be happy to help with one of our highly successful In-home Training Programs.

We really enjoyed working with Lisa from On the Spot Dog Training. She was extremely professional and punctual. Unlike other programs we looked into that wanted to give us a pre-determined, formulated training program, Lisa took time to ask what our dog's positive and negative behaviors were, what our goals were, etc., She really took time to get to know OUR dog, and she worked on exactly the areas we discussed. She worked with our dog alone, but also with us to make sure that we were were comfortable letting our dog know what we wanted, and teaching him to follow through. Lisa has a great personality and was very down to earth, approachable and easy to work with. I know that our dog loved her too, because he would be so excited whenever he saw her. Finally, I love that several of her programs offer ongoing support and group practice for us and our dog.

We were at our wits end with our new puupy....we actually weren't sure if we were going to be able to keep him. Lisa turned it all around for us! We still have a puppy, but we have a puppy that has some manners and is learning more every day. I would recommend On The Spot to anyone who needs help with their pup! Worth every penny!

Lisa was so great with helping me learn how to train my little Cavapoo, Maggie. We worked on all the areas that we were having some problems. The training was great and very effective! Maggie also loved it when Lisa came over! It may or may not have been about the bag of treats, though!
