Ohana K9 Academy - Dog Training, Boarding & Dog Daycare

We have been working with Ohana now for two weeks. We have been working with Tobin, who has been working with our 6 month shepherd. I take training my dog vertical seriously, and wanted to ensure we could have the best life for Koba. Learning from Tobin to build off our great foundation has been so awesome. It really is the tiny details pointed out that will help this process even more. I could not be happier wity the people who work here. We started off the with 4 day day training. I cant wait to see the results after the full four weeks. Koba is still a puppy so he is not as mature in the mind yet lol but there have been noticeable differences in him already. I would trust and recommend them to anyone to help you and your puppy. Bo, the owner has been exceptional as well. Has made time on multiple occasions to speak with me, or just messaging on some videos of training. Such an excellend group of people.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Ohana K9 Academy. When we got Zoey, we knew we wanted to be responsible dog parents and have her go to training to learn skills that would make her successful in life. We researched multiple companies and chose Ohana K9 Academy for training. They exceeded our expectations! Here’s how they did it; First, our trainer, Bo: He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, funny and very patient with 3 ½ months old, Zoey. He provided us with training videos that we the ability to review whenever we need to and individual sessions to teach us the skills, we can continue. He answered questions for us and took the time to help us understand by demonstrating examples, letting us practice and providing valuable feedback. We felt empowered knowing that what he taught us is something we could confidently do on our own. Second, the staff: The whole staff is AMAZING! They are all friendly and you can tell each one of them truly cares about our fur babies. We decided to send Zoey to daycare on days we worked later because we felt so confident leaving Zoey with the staff and wanted her to have opportunities to continue socializing and playing with other dogs. When we drop her off, the staff knows her by name and gives her love and care. I know Zoey loves the staff and is in good hands by the wiggle from her tail wagging so much. They even send us photos of her playing with other pups, which I love seeing and enjoy getting from them. Zoey learned how to be social, play with other dogs, regulate her nervous system so she does not get anxious or scared. We have taken Zoey out to socialize, and we enjoy having her with us. I could not have asked for a better experience for Zoey and us. Thank you to the Ohana K9 academy family.

We’ve been really happy with Ohana K9 boarding, as well as the Board&Train programs. We have a Staffy mix that just needed some refreshing in recall and commands. But we have a Mal/Sighthound mix that is just an anxious mess. We met with Chuyee and he did a great job talking about her specific needs prior to us booking the training camp. Every week, Chuyee talked about things to work on and reinforce at home. We didn’t expect a brand new dog, but she has come so so far in being able to lay in a crate at home, stay on a tethered leash while we have neighbor kids, family, random company, etc. All these improvements mean a lot to our family. We will continue to daycare the girls during rainy days or busy seasons, because they stinkin’ love being there.
