Off Leash K9 Training, Richmond

We recently sent our 6 month old GSP, Saban, to train with Rebekah, and the transformation has been incredible, he’s truly night and day from how he used to be. From better focus and obedience to improved behavior at home and in public, we’ve seen such a huge difference in such a short amount of time. We couldn’t be happier with the experience! Rebekah was fantastic, she kept us updated with regular messages, photos, and progress reports, which gave us so much peace of mind while Saban was away. It was clear she genuinely cared about him and treated him like her own. Another thing we really appreciated was how she took the time to work with us as owners, making sure we understood how to maintain and build on Saban’s training once he came home. That made the transition so smooth and set us up for long-term success. We’ve worked with other trainers in the past, but this was by far our best experience. The results speak for themselves, and we’re so grateful. Highly, highly recommend Rebekah to anyone looking for real, lasting results!

I genuinely feel like I got a different dog back after Mochi’s board-and-train with Katie. Before training, I honestly thought Mochi was just stubborn and didn’t want to listen. He’s super smart, but that almost made it worse. He would just ignore me whenever he felt like it, and his attention span was all over the place. I wasn’t sure if training would even work for him. Sending him to Katie was the best decision I could have made. Throughout the entire program, she kept me updated every single day with photos, videos, and progress reports, which made me feel so reassured and involved. She also took Mochi to different places and boost his confidence. You could literally see the improvement day by day. What really impressed me is that Katie didn’t just “train” Mochi, she figured him out. She found the right approach that worked for his personality and short attention span, and that made all the difference. When I got Mochi back, I was shocked. He listens, follows commands, and is so much more well-behaved overall. He’s still the same playful, smart dog, but now he actually responds and engages in a way he never did before. I was honestly really stressed and felt stuck with Mochi before this. But this was truly an investment, and it changed everything for us. Highly, highly recommend Katie!

Had a great experience with Off Leash K9 Training. My Labrador, Cooper, trained with Austin and the difference has been huge. Cooper is way more obedient, focused, and disciplined than before. Austin was awesome to work with and did a great job explaining everything so I can stay consistent with the training at home. You can tell he really cares about the dogs and wants them to succeed. If you’re thinking about getting your dog trained, I’d definitely recommend Off Leash K9 Training and Austin. Totally worth it.

Austin was a true blessing and perfect match for my sweet and crazy April. She is a german shep/malinois/pit mix and i was super nervous before meeting her trainer. He was amazing and i felt completely comfortable sending her with him for two week board and train program. He used ecollar correctly in his training and taught me to use appropriately. April thrived during her time away. Since returning home, April has been amazing and way more obedient than before. It is very important to remember to continue training at home. I use a wheelchair for mobility and was amazed that Austin trained her from my spare chair i let him borrow. I highly recommend Austin with Off Leash k9 training.

We did a two week board and train with Austin (9 month old GSD)- the results were amazing. Of course all the guaranteed behaviors we learned, but Luna’s overall behavior also improved. Counter surfing, garbage picking, and general chewing destruction also went way down. She has also been helping train our older Puggle, serving as an example of what right looks like. Overall we couldn’t be happier!
