Off Leash K9 Training of Maine

Marcy was great and easy to work with. We sent our 5.5 month old puppy for the two week board and train. It's obviously hard to send your pup away, but we got great updates on not only her training progress, but also all the fun she was having. We were worried she wouldn't want to leave Marcy to come home! Having a solid base with her training has made it so much more enjoyable to continue working with her ourselves, and she loves having the freedom to be off leash and run around the property!

We have a 4-year-old Boston Terrier that is petrified of strangers. Marcie had never seen such a scared dog. He did awesome with her, and learned to go out in public meeting people and learning all the Off-Leash commands. When she brought him home, she stayed a while training me and explaining the importance of continuing his training and we even did mock visitors at the door. He is so much better because of her guidance. He is happy, we are happy and visitors are getting to know Ollie for the love bug he is.

To say that Marcy is amazing is an understatement. She didn’t only help my dog, she helped me. We went through the Basic & Advanced Obedience package with our pup. Prior to working with Marcy our dog was very reactive to almost everyone and every dog while on leash, and didn’t listen very well when off leash. I didn’t want to take her anywhere; I was embarrassed and stressed about our dogs behavior, which didn’t help my dog handle these situations. She helped me feel confident in our dog and confident in myself to control our dog. I now feel like I have the knowledge and tools to handle almost any situation with me dog. Moxie can now be off leash in almost every situation imaginable, she comes when called and she places wherever I tell her too. We can take her into Home Depot and Lowe’s and she gets all the praise and treats on how well behaved she is, it makes me proud! Our lessons have been over for some time now, and I still reach out to Marcy occasionally for advice if I am having a hard time trouble shooting certain situations! I would recommend Off Leash K9 of Maine to anyone that owns a dog; whether they need help with specific things or just have a new puppy that needs some basic obedience lessons!
