Off Leash K9 Training, Northern Utah

Please note, my dog's training isn't complete, I'll update my review when it is. Off leash k9 training has a competent and professional staff who performs a consultation prior to scheduling lessons in order to help refine the needs of the owner and dog(s). Since starting training, not only has my dog become much more responsive to my commands, but as an owner, I am more cognizant of what I need to do to work with my dog. They offer a variety of training programs and lengths from basic and advanced obedience to help with dog-dog aggression and more. When one looks at the price, they may be deterred which is understandable with life being otherwise expensive; the price is well worth it. You get one on one training with your dog to truly tap into it's potential. 10/10 would do again

We have a 4.5 year old belgium malinois/ blue heeler mix who had a hard time after our German shepherd passed away. He was very nervous and didn't know when he needed to be aggressive or be calm. He liked to jump up on people and would not listen when out in public on walks or at the park. He nipped at a person and after looking for a trainer we decided to go to off leash. Tyler was our trainer and we could not be more gracious for what he has done to our dog. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and most of all he loves the animals! We did the basic obedience training (4 week course). The first lesson was rough to say the least. Our dog was jumping and yelping and wouldn't listen. We came home and worked on what Tyler had started and within a week everyone who came over noticed a difference. We just completed our course and I cannot be more amazed by what confidence he has instilled in our dog. He listens on command, people come to our house and he will stay in any command or place we put him in, and he has just turned into a completely different dog. I was very hesitant to take him to a trainer, because he was such a pain in the butt and I was nervous we would be told he is helpless. Tyler was unbelievably patient with our dog and has turned him into an amazing pup who I now trust to be out front with me and not take off or go after someone. Anyone looking for a trainer should 1000% consider Tyler and off Leash training. You will not be disappointed!

This is a must for any new puppy owner. At the end of our first class I was already convinced that I had got my full money’s worth then and there. Our dog is currently 6 months old and we are continuously stopped in the park and complimented on how well trained our dog is for being so young. Our instructor was Tyler Bass. It’s clear how caring, patient and professional he is with all clients. I recommend this team to anyone In the salt lake area.

Tyler is an awesome trainer for our new family member Zoey. He took the time during the board/train to ensure she was on track and well socialized. With frequent photo and video updates he keeps our family in the loop. It was amazing to see the places and people she was around giving us the confidence and skills to take her with more often. He truly cares for them and it shows. Would highly recommend them.
