What a GREAT place to go for training your dog! I was so pleasantly surprised how easy Joyelle made each lesson and my little cavapoo, Jake, took to the lessons right away. He would run off, jump up on people, and generally at 9 months old was out of my control. But after we started the training, in such a short time, Jake comes, sits (stays) and goes to "place" which is where he sits or relaxes until he is allowed to move off the place, This is great for when strangers or friends come unexpectedly to the door and Jake stays in his "Place" until everyone settles down. I highly recommend this low stress wonderful way of training your dog!!!!!! Thank you, Joyelle!

We were referred by a friend to Joyell and I couldn’t be more impressed with her training program. We did the one week board and train with our Vizsla. Our dog came back a transformed well trained pup. The commands and training program were easy to translate over to our home setting. She is very thorough with explaining and repeating the training so that you can continue and reinforce at home. I am so thankful we found this program.

We have a very bull-headed Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Winston! We tried another training company and did in-home lessons. All that was accomplished was Winston being able to sit for 2 seconds! He just wanted to do his own thing! We needed to try something different with him because he was so unmanageable. We researched other trainers but K9 Board and Train seemed like the best fit so we decided to give them a try. We are so glad we did!!!!!!!! Joyell met with us for a consultation and assured us that Winston was trainable. At five months old he went to her home for the one week board and train! We were sent photos and videos of Winston’s progress on a daily basis. We were extremely impressed with what we were seeing in such a short period of time. But that was no comparison to what we saw in person on the day we met to pick him up! We couldn’t believe we were watching our little head-strong puppy actually listen to and follow commands! He was truly transformed into the dog we wanted him to be. With Joyell’s instructions, we’ve been able to maintain and transfer those behaviors into our home. She informed us as to how to build onto the skills he has and has offered herself to us for guidance if needed. We couldn’t be any more satisfied with the whole experience! If you are looking for a dog trainer in the Myrtle Beach area, I would highly recommend Joyell with K9 Board and Train! You won’t be sorry. Our lives as pet parents are so much better because of her!

Joyell knows how to work magic with training! Our pup Bash had so much love and energy but struggled with knowing when to calm down. We have little kids and I felt at and end with Bash not listening when he needed to reign in his strength during play time. I didn’t know exactly what I would get with him being gone for a week but I was absolutely shocked with how well he learned commands and was able to listen even in very distracting situations when we got him back. Joyell gave me the tools to be able to continue his training where I don’t feel lost about trying to teach him in a positive way. You can feel the love that she has for animals and how much she wants them to succeed in the environment that they are in! I can not recommend her enough.

We had the best experience with Joyell! Our dog, Blue, is super smart and sweet, but wasn’t the best listener. He was a huge jumper knocking our kids over, and was a big chewer. Other dogs were an huge trigger for him, as well. After spending a week with Joyell, he listens to commands so well. He’s more mellow and just the sweet pup we knew he was without all the crazy. So thrilled with our experience!
