Off Leash K9 Training Lexington

Taking our pup to Danielle was the best decision we ever made! We have seen such an improvement in his behaviors since our training course and have continued to build upon what we learned. She not only has helped us correct behaviors, but gave us the tools to play with him in productive ways that engage him mentally. Before we went to Danielle, I dreaded taking our dog on a walk because he yanked me around, now I enjoy walks with him right by my side!

Our two fur babies, Cooper and Charlie, did a two-week board and train with Dave Duncan. Dave is an absolutely incredible trainer, and such an awesome person. He took such great care of our doggos, sent us daily updates, but most importantly transformed Cooper and Charlie into the most loving brothers. Prior to the training, Cooper, who's 3-years-old, was pulling when walking, didn't like sharing toys with Charlie when playing, and wouldn't always listen. Charlie, who's about 65 lbs and 1.5-years-old, was always pulling on leash, tried to take off after anything moving causing my wife to fall a few times, was constantly restless, and always barked/demanded things. It was hard for one of us to walk Charlie and Cooper together. They also instigated each other all the time and weren't able to lay down next to one another without barking/fighting over a toy. Dave has completely transformed them. It's hard to believe the difference he could make in just 2 weeks. I never thought my wife and I could ever sit on the couch with Charlie and Cooper and enjoy a Friday night movie together. Dave has helped to not only correct the behavioral issues we were experiencing, but also boosted Charlie's confidence, which helped to calm his constant barking/demanding. They no longer pull when on leash and 65-lbs Charlie doesn't take off after cars, people. We were finally able to stay at an airbnb and enjoy a weekend trip, which was impossible prior to the training. Dave has helped us understand Charlie and Cooper better, and teach us how to more effectively communicate with them. We are beyond grateful for all the work Dave put in to help Cooper and Charlie, who were adopted 3 years apart, become the most loving brothers.

We took our Pyredoodle puppy, Arty, to Dave for board and train and he did such a wonderful job with him! Arty was treated like family while he was there in addition to becoming a very well trained pup. Arty adores people but now knows it’s best to receive attention on all four paws rather nearly knocking folks over. He’s also made leaps and bounds on walking; he used to pull constantly but now walks are so much more enjoyable with a loose leash! Throughout the whole process I received periodic photo and/or video updates on how Arty was doing. I was missing the little guy, so it really set me at ease seeing how happy he was and how much progress he was making! Dave did a fantastic job with Arty and really took his time explaining the training process and what we needed to do to keep learning with him! I would highly recommend him!

Danielle is an amazing trainer! My dog Marty is dog reactive and before Danielle it seemed no matter how much work we put it the communication between me and him just wasn’t connecting. She truly cares about the dogs that come in and does everything she can to help. Without Danielle Marty wouldn’t be making the progress he’s made. Since her help he’s been able to go camping and be around dogs without reacting, before he could not even stand being within 30 ft of a dog before reacting.
