Hey there! Unfortunately, we do not offer water rescue training and am unsure if any local training companies do. Maybe check out "Pup n Iron", I know they do some specialty training. -Joe

We cannot recommend Colby and the team at Off Leash highly enough! Our 8-month-old Basset Hound, Barney, just completed a two-week board and train program, and the results have been absolutely incredible. Sending your puppy away for two weeks can be nerve-wracking, but Colby made us feel completely at ease. Every night, we received detailed video clips and thorough updates on Barney’s progress. Colby was incredibly specific about what they worked on each day, breaking down the techniques and behavior. He didn't just tell us what Barney was doing; he proactively included tips and insights that would help us transition Barney back into our home routine successfully. When it was time to pick Barney up, Colby didn't just hand over the leash. He spent nearly two hours with us, patiently demonstrating everything Barney had learned and guiding us through practice sessions. He made sure we actually hands-on practiced the commands ourselves so that we felt confident and prepared to maintain the training at home. Barney came home happy, well-behaved, and listening beautifully. If you are looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, communicative, and truly invested in your dog's success, look no further. We would highly recommend Colby and Off Leash to any of our friends and family!

We cannot say enough good things about Katie and the amazing job she did with Scout! 🐾 Scout is such a sweet, snuggly puppy with the best personality, but before training, listening was definitely not her strong suit. She was into absolutely everything, constantly barking, and would nip at the kids whenever they ran or tried to roughhouse and play like normal kids do. Honestly, it had started to make things stressful at home. We sent Scout to Katie for her two-week off-leash training program, and the difference when she came home was incredible. Scout came back knowing five commands, listening so much better, and overall just being so much more enjoyable to be around. The constant barking has pretty much stopped, and the kids can finally play without Scout thinking they’re intruders breaking into the house. 😂 She’s still very much a puppy and still has growing to do, but Katie gave us the perfect foundation to continue building on, and we are so thankful for that. One thing I especially appreciated was the communication throughout the entire process. Katie kept us updated daily with videos, pictures, and progress reports, which made us feel so involved and reassured while Scout was away. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish, and we would absolutely use Katie again if we add any more fur babies to our family in the future. Highly, highly recommend her!

Katie from Off Leash K9 Training is absolutely incredible. Before working with her, our dog treated every command like it was more of a “suggestion.” Now? It’s like we’ve got a whole new dog—focused, obedient, and actually listening the first time (I didn’t even know that was possible). Katie made the whole process easy and fun, and you can tell she really knows what she’s doing. She explained everything clearly and gave us the tools to keep the training going at home. Honestly, I’m so impressed that I’m considering signing my wife up next—if Katie can get the dog to listen this well, imagine the possibilities. Katie was absolutely great with my two year-old pitbull Snoop. Snoop didn’t know anything but a little bit of the sit command before going to training. After training, he is completely different. He listens to commands as said he knows how to place sit lay down and is definitely a whole lot better with his door and leash manners

Our trainer, Abby, was fantastic! We enrolled our puppy in the one-week board and train program, and the results were amazing. Our puppy now confidently knows “sit,” can hold an extended sit, and even learned “out” to release items from her mouth. We dropped off a happy puppy and picked up an even happier, more well-structured puppy. Abby kept us updated daily with progress reports, photos, and details about the training they worked on each day. We highly recommend Abby and the program to anyone looking for professional, caring, and effective puppy training!
