Off Leash K9 Training, Chicago

We cannot express our gratitude enough to Carson at K9 Off Leash Training. We brought in our playful and sassy 10 month old golden retriever for his 2 week board and train and received a still playful, but very obedient and responsive pup back. We received a daily video and several pictures, as well as what Carson and our pup trained that day. The videos were professional and helped us understand what our pup was up to, as well as see his progression throughout the 2 weeks! We also started to see a trend in the commands, the same commands that Carson took the time to train us on when we received our pup back. He made us feel comfortable and, since I am a first time dog mom, made sure to explain the reasoning behind every command and how our pup was trained to perform it. Not only did we have a fantastic time learning from Carson, but he was extremely personable and fun to be around! Our pup seemed so happy and confident in himself and we couldn’t be more appreciative. I 1,000% recommend this program to anyone who wants a pup to be responsive in any kind of situation, distractions, or environment. These are the real pros!

I did Basic Obedience (4 weeks) with Off Leash K9 Chicago with my skittish Irish Setter. Samantha was absolutely amazing working my pup. My dog has never been very treat driven, so I was at a loss on how to communicate. Within these weeks he now is no longer scared to go outside at night, comes when I call him without fail, and even heels like a dream…. All off leash! He has gained so much confidence in such a short amount of time. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I also got to see some of the board and train pups at our lessons (the mall, Home Depot, parks!) and I can say with utmost confidence these folks treat your dog like their own. Highly recommend 💚.

We were very distraught to leave our sweet puppy for 2 weeks, but it was a great experience! Our mini Bernadoodle can be stubborn and would not come on command, and we ultimately felt that the danger if she got loose out weighed everything else. Our trainer Lydia made us feel comfortable right away during the pre-meeting. She was great at giving us a complete list of what supplies to bring too. During the process, Lydia gave us lots of videos and updates so that the 2 weeks went by swiftly. Now, our puppy loves to heel and sit, and is much more manageable on a walk in the city.
