Off Leash K9 Training, Chicago

We took our 6-month German Shepherd puppy to Off Leash K9 for two weeks of boarding, and what a difference we've seen. Alyssa was his trainer, and she has done a fantastic job with him. She sent daily updates, and she quickly got to know his personality. Along with the training we received from her, he continues to learn daily and thrive on the commands he learned. we've received many compliments on his behavior when he's being walked. He is not easily distracted when walking. Although he may get the urge, we can see he's thinking and will not react. Thank you, Jaxx Pawrents!

This is the place to go!!! Rex has always been super smart but just didn’t know how to settle down. It was almost impossible to bring him to a brewery or walk him down a busy street. We sent him off for the 2 week board and train with Samantha, she did an amazing job and kept us updated every day. We looked forward every night to see his progress and she sent videos aswell. When we picked him up it was the same Rex! We hoped this wouldn’t change his spunk and who he was and it didn’t. His manners did and made us as a family finally go out more and trust him. He is now off leash all over the place and has the best recall even with high distractions. Thank you so much Samantha and off leash k9!

We were on the fence whether or not to commit to the extensive training because our dog Rylie was very smart and overall was a good dog. Well, we all want a smart dog until we have one! She was stuck in her ways and never listened when she thought she had a choice not to. We ended up signing up for the week boarding and train with Sam. Sam is amazing and Rylie loves her!! Here Rylie learned how to “place” and “come, sit”. Seems like simple commands, but they work for what we needed the training for. Prior to training, Rylie would jump up on people and her greeting manners were very rude. Now she will “place” and wait for “break” to go say hello. Don’t get me wrong, you still need to enforce the expectations at home and practice the commands, Rome wasn’t built overnight. I would say the two week board and train would instill these practices to a greater extent. Another life changing practice they provided was the hour and a half training session afterwards. I would say that I needed that training just as much as Rylie :) I highly recommend Off Leash K9 training.
