No, we do not offer private lessons as a standalone service. However, our Board & Train program includes comprehensive, personalized training for your dog and includes opportunities for owner involvement. At the end of the boarding period, we provide one private lesson at pick up to ensure smooth transitioning. Additionally, we include two semi-private follow-up sessions to help reinforce the training and address any ongoing concerns or questions you may have. They are a required part of our program.

The comprehensive training package includes 40+ hours of training per week, tailored to suit the unique needs of your pup. The package also comes with an Off Leash K9 E-Collar, which is a valuable tool to reinforce training commands. At the end of the program, one private lesson will be provided to ensure a smooth transition of care. What is included in your Board & Train curriculum?
Our Board & Train curriculum is comprehensive, covering a range of commands and behaviors to support your dog's overall obedience and manners. The program includes Sit and Down, Extended Sit (where your pup remains in position while you maintain eye contact until they are released), and Extended Down. Loose Leash walking is taught to ensure safe and controlled walks. We teach Come on command, which your dog will learn to follow in various scenarios - outside, off-leash, and with distractions. Manners are a key part of our program as well; we train your dog in Greeting Manners (to prevent jumping on people), Door Manners (waiting for a release command when a door is opened – be it the house door, car door, etc.), and Mealtime Manners (to curb begging behaviors). Lastly, we teach your dog the 'Place' command to direct them to a specific place such as their bed or crate.

For new training inquiries, reply times can be a little longer than 48 hours if there is a technology issue, a holiday, or out-of-office. In your case, our trainer appears to have had a technology issue with wifi. We strive to provide a personalized response to everyone in 24 to 48 hours and appreciate you letting us know.

I adore my dog and was very apprehensive leaving him for board and train. But I am so happy I did! Jacqueline is amazing! My daughter and I rescued a sweet, shy dog who would get scared when walking and would want to turn back. Jacqueline worked with him for three weeks to make him the confident dog he is today! And, Jacqueline does not just give you back your dog after board and train--she texts and follows up consistently to continue the training. If you have questions, call her and she immediately gets back to you to help you over any bumps. We have also had one follow up session in person that was wonderful and doing another next week! Thanks to this program, my sweet dog is well trained, happy and confident! He walks right next to me, comes when he is called and is just a love!

My 1 year old dog Rylee has benefitted tremendously from her two and a half weeks of training with Jacqueline. Rylee previously attended another board and train program and even with constant reinforcement at home, her results didn’t last. I was apprehensive about the e-collar initially, but after seeing the success of other dogs who have trained with Jacqueline first hand, I became more open minded. When I dropped Rylee off, she was a hesitant, reactive dog. She came home so much more confident! She knows exactly what the expectations are and performs her commands without a second thought.
When it was time to pick up Rylee, Jacqueline spent time training me which is an integral part of the process. She is continually following up with me on Rylee’s progress and providing tips to help us be the best partners we can be. Now, more than ever, I enjoy the company of my dog without having to worry what she’s thinking or what she will do next. I cannot recommend Off Leash K-9 training enough!

Jackie is a miracle worker. She completely changed our lives when we brought our rescued Brittany Spaniel Lucy to her for a 2 week board and train program. Prior, we were not able to leave our dog Lucy home alone. Lucy was a neurotic, anxious, compulsive dog that always found a way to run away. She was a mess on a leash as well so we couldn't take her anywhere. After training with Jackie, Lucy became the best mannered and behaved dog we had ever owned. Jackie took the time to explain our dog to us. How she thinks, what she needs. Jackie is like a dog psychologist and trainer all in one! The commands were easy to learn and now our whole family uses them with ease.
7 years later we rescued another Brittany Spaniel, Piper, and we made sure to go directly to Jackie for another 2 week board and train. Just like before, Jackie was a miracle worker. Piper and Lucy spend every minute with our family and they could not be any better behaved. I would recommend Jackie and Off Leash K9 Training to EVERYONE.
