Off Leash K9 Training

My husband and I recently had our one year old black lab complete a 3 week board and train with Jacqueline. I was a bit hesitant as my husband arranged the training while I was away on vacation and I didn't have a chance to speak with Jacqueline prior to us bringing our dog to her facility. As soon as I met Jacqueline, I knew that my hesitation and concerns were unfounded. Jacqueline clearly knows her trade. She not only "gets" the dogs but she absolutely loves them. Our dog took to her immediately and I knew we were leaving him in good hands. During the three weeks, Jacqueline took Apollo home with her and treated him like he was one of her own. We received many text messages, updates, photos and videos of Apollo's progress. It was evident that Apollo was happy and taking to the training that he so needed. Jacqueline reassured us that Apollo would be the same playful dog he'd been before the board and train, but with better manners. Prior to his time with Jacqueline, Apollo would jump on our guests, pull on the leash to the point I couldn't walk him, corner me in our yard when I attempted to stop playing with him and bark nonstop when he wanted our attention. After his board and train, Apollo no longer acts out and is so well mannered. I'm able to walk him both on leash and off the leash which I never would have fathomed. Jacqueline trained Apollo, my husband and I so that we can have the best possible version of our dog. She thoroughly explained the use of the e-collar and taught us how to properly use it along with the proper commands, tone of voice and attitude. It's evident that the e-collar is a tool that Jacqueline is skilled in using and she has passed that knowledge on to us and taught us not to be afraid of the collar. We're now providing the much needed structure that our dog required and he's happier for it! While we want an obedient pet, Jacqueline has stressed to us that we still need to be fun and that Apollo will respond accordingly. Jacqueline is very responsive, communicative and patient with us humans when we have questions once our dog was home. I've texted her several times after the training was complete and she's always responded with a call. She takes the time to explain the whys of what she's teaching us and makes sure that we understand so that we don't repeat our mistakes. Apollo has been so well trained by Jacqueline that I can tell when I'm doing or saying something wrong because he looks at me as if to say "that's not how Aunt Jacq did it"! I couldn't be happier or more thrilled with Jacqueline. I would recommend Jacqueline and her board & train to anyone looking for their dog to be the best dog he/she can be! Apollo and I can't thank her enough!

Jacqueline is absolutely amazing! I sent my 6 month old (crazy) Bernedoodle to her, and it was more than worth it. My pup is a pretty wild dog, and he was difficult to walk, which made my life really difficult since I live in New York City and constantly have to be out and about with him. He stopped constantly to greet other dogs, jump on people, and it seemed like I was always fishing something really nasty out of his mouth. After training with Jacqueline, though, he walks like a champ! He also comes when I call him, heels, and can even be off leash on the city sidewalks. It's really night and day. And Jacqueline has been so supportive every step of the way; she goes above and beyond to spend the time talking through issues, ensuring that things are going well, bringing you in for follow ups, etc. Basically anything that comes up -- Jacqueline is there. I couldn't recommend Jacqueline enough!

Jaqueline is an angel sent from heaven for sure. She worked miracles on my 7 month old Weimaraner little girl!!! She came back the most well behaved little lady. I went in with doubts that nobody could train this little wild one , that she may be untrainable but Jaqueline worked her magic and now Zoey doesn’t chase our cats AT ALL, She doesn’t bark and growl at strangers on our runs and walks. She is just about completely obedient. After Zoeys training camp Jaqueline then trained me to keep Zoey at bay. I am so grateful. I’d like to mention, I did a lot of research and Most trainers train for 30 mins at a time a few times a day and then crate them for hour(s). Jacqueline literally let’s the dog live with her and trains them 24-7 so they know how to behave in regular life. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. You’ll end up spending the same in the long run with dissatisfying results. I highly recommend!!!!

My wife & I recently had our 1 year old GSP complete a 3 week board and train with Jacqueline Zinetti - I wish I had all of the words to explain the transformation that Bailey has undergone, and continues to imprint every day. Jacqueline aka Aunt Jacq is by far one of the most amazing dog trainers & overall dog "people" I have ever met. Her expertise in training dogs, along with nailing their temperament is unparalleled - she analyzes how your dog thinks, and from there... the sky is the limit on what can be accomplished with obedience & communication. Aside from her expertise, Jacqueline is humble, down to earth, & most importantly, genuinely cares about watching you succeed in building the most amazing relationship with your dog - AND SHE LOVES DOGS!!!!! Before completing Jacq's training, Bailey was a nightmare... until she finally laid down to rest around dinner time. Constantly needing to go outside to play and drain energy, not listening to commands, pulling on the leash while walking, jumping on guests. There was absolutely ZERO possibility of imagining Bailey being off leash not in a fenced in area. We had to send her to daycare 3 times a week in order to get relief from work and our newborn son. During the 3 weeks, we received many videos, pictures and updates. Not only that, but many long phone conversations about how Bailey was doing. As mentioned above... Jacqueline will go to any lengths to help you succeed... BUT you need to put the work in yourself. Remember, not only is your dog being trained, YOU are too. As she says, your pup went to Harvard; now you as the owner need to learn how to effectively communicate with the e-collar, your tone of voice, and body placement. Your dog will not forget the training, it is imprinted in them - but you will only get out of the dog what you put into your own learning/training habits. When we got Bailey back... again no words. Instead of running around like a nut case every day, she now looks to us for guidance... "what are we doing next?" "what do you need me to do now?". Instead of her demanding to go here, or out now to play etc. Bailey is stuck to my left leg like glue - she is not going anywhere. We can now enjoy hikes off leash, take her to family member's houses; she is so well behaved and her recall is 1000%, not 100%. Remember, the dog lives in your house, you do not live in theirs. We will continue to have our in person follow ups, which are included from Jacqueline. On top of that - anything you need is always a text, call or video away. If you are considering other trainers, don't waste your time - Jacqueline Zinetti is the best out there!!!!!!
