Norton Dog Training

Incredibly happy with the dog training experience at Norton. I have had another dog trained via a similar "board and train" option, and the results are vastly different. From the moment I picked up my dog, I could tell he had a great time during his 28-day stay at Norton. He is the same dorky, silly dog I dropped off. But now he has a "work" mode and is much easier to handle in public. Just finished with lesson 2 (post board and train), and we definitely have to put in a lot of work, and give the dog consistency in order for what he learned to stick -- but that's to be expected! We are excited to get used to working with Kane and getting his skills sharpened. Things I liked about the training: -Your pup works with multiple trainers, so they don't get used to only one handler and come home not listening to you -Structured days for your pup, multiple training sessions a day, and outside time -Socialization while spending time outside, the staff allow supervised play only. The dogs are never left alone unattended -24/7 staff in the facility, your dog is not left alone at night -Positive reinforcement!!! My dog had a great time at training, and you could tell he was not fearful of the handlers

Always professional always careful. I have used Norton’s since my Doberman was a puppy. I did the month long training academy when my Doberman was a puppy and he came back very well trained. It’s not just sit and down it’s the control and temperament the dog learns from Nortons. The first time I brought my puppy in to work with Brad Norton he told me my puppy could stay and I told him I’ve never trained that and he made my 16 week old puppy stay in one try. He made it look so easy it was almost annoying. Any vacation my dogs are safe happy and come home clean
