Norton Dog Training

Norton Dog Training is the absolute best! Everybody on the Norton team is friendly, helpful, patient, and highly skilled. They treated my dog Daisy like one of their own dogs during her month-long board and train program, and she was in really good hands while she was there. I highly recommend Norton to anyone who has a dog that needs some help to be their best self. Daisy is so well behaved now! Thanks so much to everyone on the Norton team!

Our pups just came home from a week vacation at Norton Dog Training, happy, clean, and exhausted! NDT has been a part of our world for the past 4 years, and we love the piece of mind we have every time we drop them off. Both of our dogs have gone through the board and train program for therapy-dog certification, and now we board with NDT each time we are out of town, because.... they are the BEST!

I’ve been watching Brad of Norton Training for several years now which finally had me take the plunge. Two of my pack needed PROPER training in order for me to be a better pack leader and for them to be well disciplined, happy & relaxed which is exactly what Brad has taught me and them. His vast knowledge and ability to properly guide me for them truly has made me cry happy proud momma tears seeing my pups transform to all that’s possible. Bringing out the best in my pups is worth everything! If you’re a pet parent don’t think twice about should I, YES as owners of pets it’s our responsibility to do right by our babies.

We brought our dog to Norton for the 4 week board and train earlier this year and wanted to share our experience. Our dog is naturally a good boy but we wanted to take him to training to learn how to walk without a leash, be able to load in a car, etc. During his last week, he contracted pneumonia and a uti and was brought to the vet by norton for immediate care where he was hospitalized for a few days. After he recovered, norton offered to give us private lessons to compensate on what our dog had missed. When we received him, he was still extremely sick and not the same dog we left him as. He no longer knew how to do simple commands such as “sit”, let alone do the things we brought him there for. We attended a few of the private training lessons, but it felt as though norton was teaching us how to train him from scratch and our money was brought to no use. Looking back at our experience, our advice would be to carefully look at their fine print as to what they will and will not do if your dog gets sick, lost, hurt, etc. We did appreciate norton for acting with urgency when they noticed our dog was having symptoms, but the aftermath was not a good experience for us and one we still emotionally and financially regret.
