Lisa Lucas has helped dogs and their humans thrive since 2005 through compassionate, positive reinforcement dog training. As both a professional dog trainer and intuitive animal communicator, she offers private in-home dog training throughout Spokane and Stevens Counties, plus group dog training classes at her cozy, forest-surrounded facility in the Deer Park area (Clayton). She also offers Animal Communication Services to a global clientele. Her boarding school for dogs provides immersive training and safe off-leash play in secure, fenced areas. Whether you're working on manners, behavior issues, an AKC title, or want to have a deeper, intuitive conversation with your pet - you've come to the right place!

We just finished taking our second puppy through puppy training with Lisa and we couldn't be happier with the progress. Long story short, both of our dogs have made so much progress in such quick time. We couldn't recommend her more.
This is my second class with Lisa at NorthernTails and we love it! I’ve taken my Sheltie and my golden retriever to the basic classes and we are going to a third! Lots of great learning. I love positive reinforcement training.
