FirstBarkWe just recently got a pup from Northern Plains Retrievers (NPR) and he’s already showing great hunting ability! He is Incredibly smart and has caught on so quickly! NPR definitely has a lot of dedication to their dogs and the work they do! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new hunting partner!

Do you offer already trained Labrador Retrievers for sale?
In the market for a Trained Retriever? We occasionally offer labs for sale that have been through one of our gun dog training programs. Depending on their age and the level of training they have achieved, we will sell them as Started Pups or Started Dogs. No matter what level you choose, once you have hunted with a trained retriever, you'll never want to hunt with anything else!

Do you offer puppies that are bred for pointing?
Are you looking for a Labrador Retriever puppy bred for both drive and companionship? Interested in Pointing Labrador Puppies? We offer carefully selected breeding that will produce black, chocolate, and yellow Labrador pups. Some of our dogs are from pointing Labrador bloodlines and either point themselves or throw pointing lab pups.

He openly communicated the process and progress throughout the 3 months of training. And we couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. Our Labs are disciplined and great flushers/retrievers. We had our lab, Shea, out for a 4 month program this summer. She just got through her first season and we were very happy with the obedience and hunting training she received. She was very steady and the force fetching made everything better. Wade explained what to expect with this program and delivered on what he promised.
NPR has great dogs that do as well in the field as in the home. Very impressed with their training programs as well. I've had dogs in puppy, started, and finished programs which provide a solid foundation for whatever level of dog you desire. Strong hunting drive/instincts and nice off switch when not hunting.
We had our golden retriever go thru the puppy and started program with Wade. We were having a hard time getting her to keep a pheasant in her mouth or pick it up at all. Wade knew exactly what to do. Our dog no longer drops or refuses to pick up a bird. Wade is a great trainer and is awesome to work with! I would highly recommend him.
