Noble Woof Dog Training PDX

My pup and I just completed 101 & 102 this year and we can't bark enough about Noble Woof! The instructors are so kind and patient and break the learning down so you don't just understand the tricks, you understand the theory behind them, equipping you for life with the tools to overcome any obstacle with your pup. Plus, the life access to the online content is a godsend! I'm not very good at homework but I'm making my way through it at my own pace. My puppy started 101 afraid of cars, streets, new doorways, loud sounds, you name it... now we move through the world with confidence and ease. Thank you Noble Woof <3 <3 <3

We had an excellent experience working with Meredith. Our husky needed help with being able to stay calm especially near activated, playful, and/or off-leash dogs. The training really helped us communicate better with our dog and gave us a lot of tools in the toolbox for managing these types of situations and keeping him focused on us. The pacing was great - we would learn new skills in a session, apply as homework, and progressively increase the challenges for him once he was successful with the basics. Would highly recommend!

I've had an excellent experience with trainer Lauren and the team at Noble Woof. My rescue dog has a problem with rather intense reactivity to other dogs, even at a distance. Lauren is highly organized, prompt, kind, and responsive. We're putting strategies in place to reprogram my dog's reactions, which will take patience and repetition. After our initial package of in-home training, I plan to continue intermittent sessions for ongoing evaluation and exposure. Highly recommended.

We chose to work with Brie based on experience and expertise with cooperative care techniques. Our pup unfortunately has some pain, which makes handling very difficult for her. Based on our starting point, my initial training goals were pretty modest. With Brie’s help, we blew by those goals! I most appreciated: 1. Strong advocacy for both my dog AND me as the primary handler and help problem-solving to push through blocks. 2. Feeling that we have the foundation to continue the work on our own! Cooperative care isn’t a short term commitment, but I feel confident in continuing to make progress. And if we run in to a problem we need help solving—we will for sure be back with Noble Woof for Brie’s guidance.

I am WAY too late in writing out this review, but I needed to make sure it was there for people to see. We worked with Valerie across two separate training packages with our nervous, anxious, and reactive boy, Zeke. Valerie was such a boon to our relationship with Zeke and for getting him so much more comfortable with his day-to-day. I am thrilled to say that Zeke has grown from a dog too anxious to be outside for 5 minutes, to a dog that can have other dogs and people walk by our yard WITHOUT reacting! It's still an ongoing process, but the guidance provided by Valerie has been integral to getting him to this point. If the rest of the staff at Noble Woof are even half as helpful and insightful as Valerie, then I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for guidance and mentorship for you and your pup!
