Noble Woof Dog Training PDX

I contacted Noble Woof early last summer looking for help with a challenging young husky I adopted as a voluteer at a shelter. They put me on a wait list. Then they told me I needed a behaviorist. I did get into a wonderful behavioral clinic and the anxiety med and training helped him relax and learn. I checked back in as Brie has a reputation for expertise with training husky's. I was again placed on a wait list for April. When I later checked in on April status I was told they could not help me with in person or virtual training as their business model had changed since I first contacted them. Within a month the announcement came out about their new facility for in house training! It 's pretty sad that they were not interested in trying to help this young husky, and the one who rescued him as I am fully committed to do the work. I emailed Brie as well with no response. One can only assume challenging cases are not within their capability or they are busy enough they only accept basic easier cases. My vet was blind copied on email correspondance and was floored by their lack of compasion & willingness to assit in training. I have all the emails to back this up.

Highly recommend training with Noble Woof! We started private training sessions with Jaime shortly after adopting our 4 month old rescue puppy and quickly discovering reading books and articles on training wasn't going to cut it. Jaime was so patient with our energetic pup and in answering our many questions, and so thoughtful in sharing resources and designing training that was appropriate for our puppy's temperament. She helped us better understand our puppy's behavior and coached us through different training games to work with him on key skills and particular challenges we were facing. After each session she sent a follow up email and helpful handouts that we could refer back to. Jaime is fantastic to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again or recommend her to others looking for a trainer.

We found Noble Woof while looking for help with our anxious dog, Eneldo, who had become increasingly fearful around other dogs and people. Working with Valerie Peck made such a difference for all of us. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly pays attention to what our pup is communicating. Our sessions completely changed the way Eneldo and I understand and work with each other. We saw huge progress not only in his behavior, but also in his confidence and ability to relax around others. We feel very lucky to have worked with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, positive training support.

We worked with Valerie to help us figure out a plan for our two rescue dogs. They had lived together for the past few years but recently had escalated in reactivity regarding specific areas of our house. Valerie came in and took stock of the situation and gradually helped us all gain confidence back in our daily routines. I'm so grateful for all of the help in a situation that felt incredibly overwhelming in the beginning of the year (especially as I had to also have back surgery in January) and now we have routines and structures in place that make everyone feel comfortable. Our dogs loved the training and all of the treats and really looked forward to each training session. I can't recommend it enough and would pay for it over again to feel as comfortable as we do now!
