Noble Woof Dog Training PDX

We did Separation Anxiety training with Courtney Bayer and I cannot say more nice things about her and the entire experience. It was many months with Zooms and detailed notes that ultimately led us to the success we so desperately needed. I wish we had done it sooner. I had tried doing similar training on my own, but always ended up messing up and having to reset. Courtney made it so easy and straightforward. She was very patient and a wealth of knowledge. It’s been years since we did the training and it has stuck with very minimal upkeep (basically none). I can’t recommend her enough!

The puppy socialization class didn't go well. My puppy spent a lot of the time in his own area, not interacting with other pups because he was bigger and more rambunctious than the others. Most of the class I was distracting him by throwing treats down. Also, I didn't know treats weren't provided so it was a bummer to feel like I'm disruptive asking for more treats everytime he finished the crumbles.

Valerie has been one of the most supportive trainers (morale booster, beacon of light, and sometimes therapist haha) I have worked with. She has really helped me with training tools that have given me way more confidence on walks with my reactive pup. It has been a long journey but we have come such a long way and Valerie has been there for every step. She has tailored tools that balance out my own interests (biking, camping, rainy days inside) with my dogs needs to aid in her own success. WE LOVE HER! I could go on and on, but Valerie at Noble Woof has been a life saver for me and my sensitive virgo dog.

My husband and I worked Heidi for 4 sessions. In those sessions, we learned a lot about dog behavior and techniques to help our dog's reactivity. We feel equipped with the skills, knowledge, and experience (working with her dog was great) to continue working with our dog in society. Heidi was very knowledgeable and understanding. She worked with our limited availability and allowed us to reschedule when we were sick. She also explained concepts/vocabulary very clearly and provided a variety of resources for different learners. She is a great teacher--she provided lots of feedback and suggestions to help us notice things about our dog and our training. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her!

We’ve had a wonderful experience working with Heidi! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about reactive and fearful dogs and is very respectful of our timid pup. She created a detailed training plan tailored to our pup’s specific needs and was more than willing to answer any questions we threw her way. She’s extremely dedicated to her work and deeply cares about the success and well being of dogs. We would definitely recommend Heidi and Noble Woof!
