New England K-9 School for Dogs

Had one session so far with NEK9 and was extremely impressed. First off the pricing was significantly less than anywhere else quoted us, and just from speaking to Sol over the phone we knew that he was knowledgeable. My french bulldog who I always thought to be stubborn and un-trainable was immediately responsive to the methods proposed. In fact he was happy. We have had an issue with my Our dog Vito and my daughter being possessive. At one point we considered having to give Vito away, but after one session with NEK9 I am now confident we will be able to get Vito where we want him to be. I look forward to the rest of our trainings.

Great first lesson, Great trainer! Sol trained us, so we can train our 4 month old Lab-mix. Within the first week, doing our daily practices, our pup is more focused and responsive than ever before. Sol is clear in his explanations of process and why each step and action is important. He arms us the pups parents with the skills and information we need to train our dog. His methods are much like parenting- consistency, consistency, consistency. He offers free phone advice for the life of the dog with the 5 session training package - what a plus! Thanks Sol!

We recently began taking our Australian Shepherd puppy to New England K9 School for Dogs and could not be happier. Sol takes the time to break it down to the fundamentals and explains why his methods are effective. He is extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling, which is a huge plus if both owners work full-time. The daily homework assignments can be difficult to squeeze in to our schedule, but have proven to be effective. Our puppy is improving by the day. As I said, we could not be happier with our decision to train with Sol Oven

Adopted a 2-yr old medium sized dog (Jackson) who was mostly untrained (except for a few tricks). As a first time dog owner i was over whelmed with everything (even letting the dog out of the kennel and trying to keep him from jumping on me when on the couch). Our walks were also a bit chaotic with him pulling and trying to chase down every squirrel he saw. We were taking the dog on 10 miles a day jogs in attempt to wear the dog out (that didn't work- only tired us out.) After one lesson with Sol, we've already noticed a big improvement with Jackson's behavior. He stopped pulling on our walks, and seems to have calmed down inside the house. We do put in the time practicing (3 times a day) but we are excited to see more positive changes in Jackson's behavior with more lessons & work.
