New Dogs - Old Trix

I have been bringing my puppy since December who was very timid at the beginning of these puppy socialization classes. These classes have really helped my puppy socialize with other older, bigger, and smaller dogs. The trainer's Susan, Brittany and Christopher are wonderful they talk to you during the classes to show you good behaviors and behaviors where dogs are showing that they are afraid or intimidated by other dogs. My puppy at the very beginning of these classes was very timid and stay to the sides of the fence or the corners but she has opened up and really plays with the other dogs. These classes are a safe environment for the dogs unlike dog parks where the owners are only there to socialize with themselves and not watch their dogs. At the very beginning of each class the trainer's go over the rules, these rules are for the safety of the dogs and the owners. My puppy has really learned to socialize with dogs and to make the correct decision to walk away when another dog is timid or doesn't want to play. When my puppy gets too big or past the small puppy socialization class she will be attending the older dog class, that Susan, Brittany, and Christopher do. I have recommended these classes to several family members and friends. I cannot say enough about how wonderful these trainers are and would recommend them to everyone. Cheryl Murphy

I am a huge fan of the Puppy Socialization class. Just love it! My puppy and I have been attending since Susan's class began. This class has had a giant impact on both my puppy and me. I own a small terrier mix - my very first small dog. Susan's class has been a wonderful way to introduce both my puppy and me to healthy and appropriate dog interaction and behavior. He may be small, but he is now a confident friendly dog that I can introduce to any dog, big or small. I cannot thank Susan enough for her expert guidance and care.

We have a 5 year old small breed mix dog that my 16 year old daughter brings to Susan’s socialization classes each week. He didn’t get socialized well as a younger dog and used to be anxious and nervous around other dogs. Now, because of Susan and these classes, he has really been enjoying his interactions with other dogs. This classes have been extremely impactful for him and my daughter.
