Nate Dog Training

Nate helped tremendously with my 3 year old border collie that was dealing with a lot of leash reactivity and fear. He provided a lot of insight into different aspects of what was causing those different behaviors and several different methods on how to change and alter those behaviors. I also really appreciated his communication and the care he showed towards making sure my pup Zoey was on the right path and that I had the tools to keep progressing even after our lessons were done. If you are having any of these issues I would definitely recommend working with Nate!

Nate is an absolutely wonderful dog trainer. I have a larger reactive dog and while he is truly the sweetest at home, he would bark, pull, and lunge toward everyone and every dog. It was really overwhelming for me because I’ve never had a dog that was so frazzled about life before! I would avoid walking him or having people over because it was never fun for either of us. We did 6/7 sessions with Nate of group work and 1:1 training and my pup has gotten so much better. He is less reactive in all ways we can walk past people without a freak out, and can go on long walks. I can even take him into Lowe’s now without a peep or anything except curiosity. I don’t know where I’d be now without an intelligent and caring dog trainer like Nate. He really can read your dogs mind!

Our rescue dog Doodles, a poodle mix, age 7 months, had become aggressive and would bark hysterically at anything outside our window. He even bit one of my friends. I got Nate's name from our vets office. He came to our home for teaching Doodles, and I had lots to learn too. I was so impressed with his technique and he had our crazy aggressive puppy our gentle and obedient companion in very short time. Now Doodles is a sweet and playful friend for our family and my grandchildren can enjoy him. Thanks so very much Nate, If I could give you 10 stars I would!!

My sister and I went through a group training for our Maltipoo puppies and it wasn’t very helpful. We knew it would be important for them to do individual training. After research, we came across Nate Dog Training. I reached out and we finally were able to get our puppies for training with him. He has taught us how leash training is a must in every area of training a dog. Also we learn how to prevent one or the puppies to stop barking as much and how to be around other dogs or different places outside of our home. He was helpful for giving recommendations on scheduling, foods to try or etc. I highly recommend Nate for being so helpful and patient with assisting both our puppies. I would love to dive in more areas of training for our pups.
