Nate Dog Training

Training with Nate has helped us to be more confident dog owners! We contacted Nate because we needed support in training our dog Sadie, a 2 year old, Cattle Dog mix. We did a puppy obedience class through a local shelter when we first adopted her but Sadie exhibited some difficult behaviors after we brought a foster dog into our home. We tried working with a few other trainers that were difficult to communicate with or just did not provide the training that we were looking for so we were so thankful to find Nate. He communicated very clearly and promptly. His systematic training approach made the training process feel approachable and he was always open to discuss specific circumstances that we found ourselves in with Sadie. After feeling discouraged for so long, we felt like we could really achieve our training goals for Sadie through Nate Dog Training. Each session was not only productive but it was also fun! Nate and his three dogs are wonderful to be around. If we ever need training again for another dog, we will absolutely be contacting Nate and he is the trainer that we will refer our friends and family to from now on.

We reached out to Nate after adopting a 10 month old Shepherd mix. After a few days her wild side came out and we were struggling with jumping, chewing, and general puppy behavior issues. We did 3 private and 1 group session with Nate and it has made a huge difference for our pup Lucy! He trains the owners on how to be in charge of the pup and not the other way around. We have some work to do but feel like we have the tools now thanks to Nate to make Lucy a great dog for our family!

I am so glad we called Nate!!! We knew we would need a trainer when we got our Rottweiler puppy simply because so many people are intimidated by this breed and also because we love how well behave our old dog is and wanted him to be just as enjoyable to have around. By the time we started session our 7mo old was destroying furniture and a nightmare on the leash. We saw immediate improvement after each session and were diligent about our "homework". Even today when we break a rule, we joke and say "Nate would tell us to..." and that is the best part, Nate taught us that we had all the power we just needed his tools and now our puppy is great on a leash and no more chewed up furniture. I recommend him to everyone I know that gets a new dog.

Tyler and I wanted to first thank Nate for his superior service and shared knowledge on training our at the time 5 month old Australian Shepard Maverick! We wished we would have known of Nate’s training when Maverick was even younger! We would have to say to anyone searching for a trainer to stop looking and work with Nate! Over the last 7 months working with Nate doing our part to keep doing what we learned from him our Maverick has improved in respecting boundaries, walking on leash by side and not pulling , waiting at door when someone arrives , little to no jumping on people or children, can go into stores without whining or pulling, and can go in truck rides without crying. Nate has also worked with our schedules when we could not make a training session. He writes a plan of action when he first meets with u and alters as ur session continue so it is about ur pup n the changes that occur during the process! I would highly recommend Nate and if you ever want to speak to us Nate can provide you with our phone number and we can chat! Hands down Nate is the best and truly cares about ur pup and their owners! If ever we need to have future training we know who to reach out to NATE!

I adopted a one and a half year old Chihuahua mix, who is 20 lbs. Nate helped me address walking with him, staying, separation anxiety and proper conduct with people and other dogs. I had experience with dogs decades ago, so I needed some confidence and Nate helped me with that. He came to my house which helped me address my dogs needs where he lives. We also did a class with other dogs. His dogs came a long and provided assistance too Nate also gave guidance regarding nutrition, treats and exercise.
