Can I volunteer as a personal trainer?
You can volunteer for group sessions! You will have to join the club. Then take a few classes. The club always needs good teachers!
If you wanted to observe one class you would need to clear it with the Training Director. As Justin points out, class fees pay our rent so multiple observations wouldn't be allowed.

I suppose you could, but this is a volunteer non-profit organization and proceeds from the class go to building maintenance, equipment, and local events. Doing this would hurt the club tremendously.

I have been going to NDTC now for about a year. The beginning agility was a good experience, the teachers were great. We enrolled in the intermediate class as that was the only one that fit into my schedule. One teacher was great, had patience and worked with us. The main teacher was rude, rude, rude! Never helped, stood on the side lines, and didn't offer any suggestions except "do what you want". We just walked out of the class. I will not be going back there again.

Lots of classes offered in a large training space. Sign up as soon as sign ups get posted though or you won’t get it. Classes are full within 2-3 minutes.

I've taken two classes and the instructor is very knowledgeable and friendly. It's fun to try to learn to work with your dog as she makes it enjoyable.
