My Dog Listens LLC

We took our 13 month old terrier mix puppy to My Dog Listens after some unacceptable behaviors were beginning to show. We were skeptical that Carl could become the dog we needed him to be. I'm so glad we were wrong! He's amazing on leash and off leash. It takes consistency and work on our end, which can be tiring but it is so worth it. I highly recommend My Dog Listens, it is life changing for us and our pup!

Absolutely speechless! I sent my pup, Ginny to My Dog Listens and it was hands down the best decision I’ve ever made. She gave them a run for their money (and my money too, LOL) but they stuck to it and Ginny graduated a top-notch-dog. Their communication was efficient and informative. On pick up day, I was so pleased at how Haley and Sarah welcomed me and my partner. After not seeing our dog for four weeks there was a little anxiety, but they were so welcoming and made the transition incredibly easy. I’ve already been recommending friends and family! Without a doubt, if I get another dog will use My Dog Listens!

We heard about My Dog Listens from our neighbor who had sent her puppy there twice. We decided to send our 5 month old cavapoo Chester to their 2 week board and train. We had the pleasure of working with Haley. My husband and I could not have been more pleased. My jaw dropped the second I saw Chester heel and listen to commands like sit, down, and place. I couldn't believe this was my dog. Haley did a fantastic job with training. You can definitely tell she enjoys her job, and genuinely wants these animals to do well. She gave Chester all the cuddles and praises. Haley also did a wonderful job staying in contact with us, and giving us thorough updates along with the cutest pictures. She sat down with us the day we came for pick up, and explained how everything works and let us practice so we could get the hang of it. I felt at ease knowing my puppy was in good hands. Now that Chester is back home with us, my husband and I maintain and practice the skills that were taught by Haley. Training is an ongoing process, and my dog listens provides an excellent foundation. I highly recommend MDL. It's a wonderful investment for yourself and your furry child.

My Dog Listens has been such an amazing resource for us in our puppy parenting! We have a rat terrier puppy who is as sweet as can be but SO SMART. Honestly too smart. We knew we needed to get her in training as soon as she was vaccinated to prevent her from learning negative behaviors. Our private lessons with Sarah taught my husband and I how to train our puppy past the basic “sit”. She actually stays now, comes when called, and heels on a leash. We found MDL so valuable that we chose to continue training with them and have returned for ecollar training. We have done 1 of 4 lessons thus far and have already seen an improvement. Puppy drops items when asked and it will one day help with our goals to have her off leash in our yard (and where allowed)! Thank you so much Sarah & Mike for all your guidance! I will also add that we boarded our puppy with them for a weekend and she was treated as if she was one of their own 🥰 Puppy will definitely board with them again and for longer trips! I 100% trust them with my baby! She loves them and loves being there.

This is a review I should have left a long time ago. Upon encouragement of family and friends, I have decided to do so as I do not want another pet or pet owner to go through what we have. I will not go into details about our experience with My Dog Listens or the trainer we had, Sarah, but I would not recommend anyone leaving their pet in their care. Please, believe me when I say, it is not worth the risk.
