Thank you Jonathan for taking such good care of Butter! Butter has always been such a sweet, lovable boy, but he was WILD and mischievous. Even though he was a cuddle bear, he was too rough, and unbearably stubborn. We joked before he left saying he will be the one dog they can't train. Well, let me say -- WOW!! The change is like night and day. You were able to train him and teach him to mind, but you didn't break his spirit. He came back to us the same sweet, loveable boy, just a well mannered version. The same day he was returned he was taken out to MANY stores for family field trips and he behaved, he listened...he wasn't a terror. Normally he would be jumping on everyone that crossed his path, and tearing things off shelves...not this time. The next day he was taken on a walk with his dog brother, and two small children. In the past, a walk like this would send Butter into overdrive and he would be knocking the kids down, and competing with his dog brother for leader of the pack...not this time. He stayed in the heal command the entire time. It was the FIRST pleasant walk we have had with him. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!

Our trainer Johnathan was awesome, we loved the updates & pictures during Butter’s training. The overall experience with My Dog Listens was excellent, I met a dog & owner at Lowes and was so impressed, I know this was what my family needed for our lovable but out of control dog. If I could describe our experience with My Dog Listens & trainer Sarah in one word, I would say: lifechanging. We have a 2 year old German Shepherd who was very reactive and fearful. She would lunge at people, nip people who got too close to her, and react negatively to loud sounds or distractions. We realized we needed to do something when we no longer could have guests come to our house or take her into any places where she was with people she didn't know. Over the course of 4 weeks, the team at My Dog Listens taught Pepper how to relax, build confidence, and listen to commands. Sarah sent updates and pictures throughout the process - even giving updates about her eating habits and bathroom routine to help ease our worries. It is obvious that Sarah & the team at My Dog Listens are INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about safe and proper dog training techniques. On the day of turnover, we were able to learn about Pepper's new e-collar and how to utilize it to correct behaviors. Pepper has been home for one week and we are already taking her on "field trips" to Home Depot and other public places where there are people, noises, and many distractions around. Pepper is now able to listen to commands through these distractions where before she would have been lunging, barking, and shaking nervously. Sarah has truly changed Pepper's life and while changing her life, she changed ours as well! We are so excited to be able to take Pepper on more adventures with us and feel confident that she will behave appropriately. We considered dog training for over a year before finally just doing it, and that is my biggest regret. If I could change one thing, I wish we would have committed to Sarah & her team sooner. If you are even considering getting your dog trained with My Dog Listens, just do it. You will 100% not be disappointed. It was worth every penny and every day spent apart from our dog to have the new and improved version we have now. THANK YOU MDL & Trainer Sarah! We are forever grateful.

I did a four week one-on-one lesson package with my year and a half old dog with the head trainer, Sarah. We had an absolute blast with her, and after just one lesson, my dog started to come reliably whenever called, which was a huge improvement in her behavior! She is now able to get in the car, place, and stay seated for longer periods of time than she ever has before. Sarah was very patient with us, and I loved that she brought in her own dogs to two classes to help my dog learn to deal with distractions and other puppers. I highly recommend My Dog Listens. We loved MDL so much that we have made arrangements to leave our dog with them for boarding on our next trip.
