My Clever Canine is a relationship-first dog training service led by Caz Glancy, an experienced professional dog trainer with 10+ years training Chicago dogs. Primarily serving Chicago's Northside and the near-north suburbs (Evanston, Skokie, Niles, Park Ridge, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Rosemont).
We specialize in reactive, fearful, and aggressive dogs, plus everyday obedience, through in-home Board & Train (your dog lives and learns in the trainer's home) and private in-home lessons.

Caz is the BEST. We initially took our pup in to work on her barking (she's a fiesty little dachshund that always has something to say). We had taken her in for training at some other places and it didn't really help. Since doing training with Caz, friends and family have commented on how much more well-behaved our dog is now. We liked Caz so much, we now take our dog in for daycare once a week to keep the training going. Best dog trainer in Chicago!

We love Caz and could not recommend her training program more. Our rescue, Queso, was anxious and overwhelming to take care of. After only two weeks training with Caz, our relationship with Queso was transformed for the better. We couldn't believe how quickly he improved, gained confidence, picked up skills.
Caz always communicated with us at the beginning and end of our training Day, giving us tips of how to work on him at home and how to communicate better with him. Not only did she train Queso, but she also did training sessions with us and taught us how to build trust and a mutually reassuring relationship.
Before going to training, he was very difficult to walk - he would run ahead, tug the leash, react to every dog. Caz gave us the resources and confidence to work on this and taught Queso how to walk in a less anxious and reactive manner.
We were so impressed with her training program that we continued to send him to daycare regularly and continue to see improvements every day.
Queso is now thriving and we now feel comfortable with him in almost any situation. Thank you Caz!!!

We’re so glad to have found such a great place in the neighborhood for our Rhodesian Ridgeback pup. We completed training here and Caz was able to help our pup walk on a leash like a good girl (I tried so hard but just couldn’t do it myself)! We now attend Day Care regularly and Daisy is always excited to go!

We participated in the 2-week training class and the difference it made in our dog's behavior was remarkable. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this training made it possible for us to keep our dog.
About 2 months after the class, we took our pup in for a daycare training session, and she improved even more. We have gone several more times since, and every time Caz shows us new ways to work with our dog to keep improving.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I give My Clever Canine a 100!

Caz is so knowledgeable and really helped us out with our dog! She is really great about returning calls and e-mails about questions and her techniques were different than with other trainers we tried and are really helpful! Could not say enough nice things about Caz and My Clever Canine!
