FirstBarkSara’s training is gentle. I learned how to understand my dog’s body language and how to work with him in an affirmative and effective way. This was a very helpful, informative and encouraging training program.

About Mr. Dog Training
At Mr. Dog Training I want you and your dog(s) to reach their full potential. One of the most effective ways of doing this is learning how to properly communicate with your canine companion and learning to listen to them. When pets and people aren’t speaking the same language, it can be frustrating. Just like with any good relationship, communication is key! I believe training should be fun, for both you and your dog, and that training with your dog should help create a strong, lasting relationship built on respect and trust. I take pride in providing a safe, fun, and compassionate environment to learn in.

I am bringing home a creme golden retriever on Sept 3. He will be 9 weeks. When shud i start his obedience training at your facility. Is it s once s week class? I dont work so reinforcement can be done between classes. thank you Jane B.

Thank you for contacting me and congrats on the new puppy! I offer a free drop in Puppy Preschool every Saturday morning from 10-10:30am for pups age 8-16 weeks. Puppies must have had their first round of distemper/parvo vaccine and been in your home at least 10 days prior to coming to class. As soon as your puppy meets these requirements then you are welcome to come! When you come to Puppy Preschool you'll want to bring your puppy wearing a leash and a portion of high value food (cheese, boiled chicken, hot dogs, boiled egg, or sliced turkey) to use as rewards.

Sara's classes are a great teaching tool to show the human how to communicate with their puppy. It provided me with tricks and tools on how to stimulate his brain, control unwanted behaviors and bring out his best. At first I thought doing classes virtually was not going to be as effective as in person but Sara makes it work very effectively. We have graduated two classes and plan to go back for more training. Even Theo is so happy he is singing Sara's praises.

This was the best experience for me and my dog! Sara is amazing. She is patient, funny and kind, and she understands dog behaviors and training like no one else I’ve worked with before. We signed up for a second class with Sara just hours after we graduated from her first class. I would highly recommend taking a class from Sara/Mr. Dog Training!!
