About Mr. Dog Training
At Mr. Dog Training I want you and your dog(s) to reach their full potential. One of the most effective ways of doing this is learning how to properly communicate with your canine companion and learning to listen to them. When pets and people aren’t speaking the same language, it can be frustrating. Just like with any good relationship, communication is key! I believe training should be fun, for both you and your dog, and that training with your dog should help create a strong, lasting relationship built on respect and trust. I take pride in providing a safe, fun, and compassionate environment to learn in.

I am bringing home a creme golden retriever on Sept 3. He will be 9 weeks. When shud i start his obedience training at your facility. Is it s once s week class? I dont work so reinforcement can be done between classes. thank you Jane B.

Thank you for contacting me and congrats on the new puppy! I offer a free drop in Puppy Preschool every Saturday morning from 10-10:30am for pups age 8-16 weeks. Puppies must have had their first round of distemper/parvo vaccine and been in your home at least 10 days prior to coming to class. As soon as your puppy meets these requirements then you are welcome to come! When you come to Puppy Preschool you'll want to bring your puppy wearing a leash and a portion of high value food (cheese, boiled chicken, hot dogs, boiled egg, or sliced turkey) to use as rewards.

Such a good trainer. I see a positivd difference in my dog’s behavior after every class!
My dog and I learned so much from both Basic Obedience and Intermediate classes. Sara is gifted in her ability to teach dog behavior skills that make sense. I left each class thinking, “Aha, so that’s how to do it!” I recommend her classes to all.
We adopted a two year old Shepard mix In January age two. She was sweet, but her behavior definitely needed help. Thanks to Sara at Mr Dog training we now have a much improved pup! She really learned a lot and we learned even more. We hope to enroll for another training class in the autumn. We highly recommend Sara Sokol if your pup needs help! She has a fun style of training.
