Moura Stock Dogs

picked up our joker favela pup this weekend. very impressed with the facilities and the fact they were spotless clean. got to watch joker and bo work was very impressed. unbelievable how much I was able to learn in two days. looking forward to going back soon. we can already tell our pup Sadie is very intelligent and quick to learn the basics. thanks again for a fantastic weekend we totally enjoyed it and felt we were treated like royalty

Great clinic,, mr Moura really instilled in my head the importance of starting a young dog correctly,, and the importance of a cool calm and collected attitude. He actually went over a little bit of psychological work with a young dog I took,,and took the time to explain to me and the rest of the group what the purpose of his actions were!! Hands down I would refer this clinic to a beginner ,, a novice or you pro's that just need to polish up your skills!! And also he showss you how to correctly put a correct foundation on a dog!! I truly had a great experience

Thanks Maycon Moura and Emma Moura for a great learning experience. I met Maycon a couple months ago when he was doing clinic n Alabama. Right off I could tell he was good dog trainer and his record shows he excellent dog handler. So we made a deal for him to polish up n show my HTC. So this past weekend he showed him for 1st time he did excellent. But what I really want to share here is what I found out by staying the week with him before the trial. 1. All dogs turned out n paddock together every morning to socialize. 2. While that going on all kennels cleaned, washed n blow dried. 3. Free choice food n kennels 24/7. 4. Dogs bathed every two weeks. 5. Kennels mostly enclosed with air cooler. 6. Sheep n plenty cattle for training. 7. Even though lots of dogs he has personal relationship with each one. Even to the point some come n home for awhile if needed. I'm sure I going to leave out some things but to sum it up. For me this started out as business deal but wow. It changed my whole thinking about cowdogs. His whole process and philosophy is based on what is good for the dog and that the dog has good experience. Thanks Moura Stockdogs.

My wife and I finished the Stock Dog Training class and were highly impressed with Maycon's methods of training dogs. Maycon worked with me and made sure that I understood the handler's point of view when handling a dog. Also, I did not have my dog with me at the time, but he made sure that I was given the same amount of attention just as the people with dogs. We recommend him so highly that we want to further our experience and training, so we are signing up for his online classes.
