More Than Dog Training

Caylen is everything you want in a dog trainer!!! Let me start by saying, I have been a dog owner for over 20yrs. In the past I have been able to train all of my dogs without problems until I got Norman. When we started working together, Norman (at the time, 7mo old Doberman puppy) was a hot mess! He pulled on the leash, had literally no interest in coming when called, counter surfed, jumped up on everyone, and barked at other dogs while on a leash. Today I can walk him on, or off leash, and have full confidence in his recall abilities. He no longer jumps up on people, pulls on the leash or counter surfs, (which for an 85lb puppy who’s nose is level with my kitchen counters, is a huge accomplishment). From our first conversation to our last meeting Caylen was so knowledgeable & helpful she made me feel completely confident and comfortable in her abilities. Furthermore, she left me with all the skills & knowledge I need to continue down the path of having the best fur baby I could possibly ask for! I have full confidence in recommending her services to anyone that has a pup in need of an adjustment. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us!!!!!

We are so happy to have met and worked with Caylen. We were looking for a trainer because we recently added two new puppies to our family. With two young kids and one of the pups having some injuries we knew we had to get them properly trained. Our boy Theo had a broken leg and was still recovering when we brought him home. He was on activity restrictions which meant lots of time in his kennel and lots of medicine to keep him calm. Within minutes of meeting Caylen she taught us ways to teach him to be calm on his own. She taught us so much about communication and creating a calm mindset at all times for both dogs. We learned how to give them the foundation and guidance they needed. There are so many great outcomes from our experience working with Caylen but the biggest and most important ones for us are that Theo no longer takes any calming medications (still on restrictions) and they have been so wonderful with our kids. Caylen has given us the tools and information to give our dogs a life they deserve and we could not be more please with her service. Very professional and attentive to each person/dog. Her ability to accommodate Theo’s restrictions and still teach us what we needed to learn was amazing. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dog trainer for any reason!

Polo is our 90lb - 2.5 years old White German Shepherd dog, around the 2 year mark he started reacting to some people and dogs in the apartment complex where we live and it was getting worst every day, specially in the building hallway and stairs. My husband and I were really surprised seeing how our friendly big puppy was becoming an scary aggressive looking reactive dog we couldn’t keep under control anymore, and not understanding the reason behind it was the most frustrating part. That’s when I reached out to Caylen and even before our first session she shared a little tip with us that helped changing the state of mind of Polo when walking out of the apartment from there on we only saw improvement and after a couple sessions we felt we were getting our dog back!!! She helped us understanding Polo’s personality and opened our eyes to all these little details and signs we were missing and misreading, she also showed us how to communicate with him using our body language and it helped tremendously! I thought I already had a good relationship with Polo but after the training our bond just got stronger. There is always room for improvement, we know training is a long term commitment that requieres a lot of practice but now thanks to Caylen we have all the tools and knowledge to do it! Every penny is worth it! We highly recommend Caylen as a dog (and owner) trainer!

I cannot say enough positive things about Caylen and More than dog training. In six sessions, Caylen got us to enjoy life with our dog. Even though our puppy is not an aggressive dog, we had issues of leash pulling, not coming back when we call, jumping on people and kids. Caylen taught us how to address every issue one at a time and worked with the puppy in both a firm and kind manner. Just like the dog whisperer, Caylen says something and the dog immediately complies. She is an excellent trainer and she gets results. She trained our dog, she trained us, she always responded quickly to our texts and questions, she was very present throughout the whole training course over two months. We are very grateful to her and delighted to have found her.
