Monument City Dog

Laura is AMAZING!!! Before her, we were not able to leave our shepherd mix Nova at home alone - at all. We rescued her at the age of 4 and did not realize how severe her separation anxiety and general anxiety were until we got home. We were basically prisoners in our own house for 8 months before we found Laura. We weren't even sure much could be done for Nova, but MCD was our last ditch effort to get some part of our lives back. After a Board and Train with MCD, Nova came back a well-trained, less anxious dog who can be left alone for several hours at a time (a thought previously inconceivable to us). We can take her to our favorite local restaurants and breweries and not worry about her anxiety resulting in her barking at other dogs or people, or whining when one of us walks away to get another drink. MCD has quite literally changed our lives, and we are SO SO thankful for that!! Laura is easy to communicate with when we have quick questions or need some guidance (the work doesn't stop when your dog comes home - the humans get great training too)! Thank you MCD, we literally could not have made it this far without you.

We loved working with Laura! With her awesome training, we have a dog that we literally bring everywhere with us. Laura has channeled her crazy rescue dog energy into a calm pup in the house and around guests who still loves to have fun when I take her out on runs or bring her to play with her best dog friends. Our dog gets so much attention when we are out with her for her model behavior and I always tout Monument City Dog! I cannot recommend Laura enough, the training she did with our dog was priceless.

I can not say enough great things about Laura and Monument City Dog. I came to Laura after frustration with not seeing results from my training efforts. I felt it was time to introduce a corrective tool and I wanted a professional to be the one making that introduction. After a 2-week board and train, Wilson is now able to hold a loose-leash heel while walking among other things. Most importantly, I feel like our bond has been strengthened through the use of a the ecollar as a communication tool. I have so much peace of mind when we are in the park or hiking off leash knowing that I can communicate with Wilson via e-collar should he get too far away. We are SO pleased with Wilson's progress and recommend Monument City Dog without hesitation!!
