MLK9 Dog Training

Andy did an amazing job training our Labrador/Husky mix! She stayed with him for three weeks and is so much calmer. Had never used a training collar before, but it really helps her to remember her commands. She is great about going into her crate now. Being a puppy, she still has some maturing before going back for her advanced course. I am very pleased with her training and Andy’s dedication and skill!

Crockett was brought to and trained by Andy Taylor because our rescued Pit Bull Mix was showing reactivity towards other dogs, excessive barking and pulling on leash. We could not leave him alone at home because of continued barking and howling. He is now content to be left in kennel for a few hours. We sat together quietly while a skunk walked passed us no more than 6 feet away. My neighbors can now walk passed our house with their dogs without Crockett barking or lunging forward. My husband and I are still working on walking without leash pulling not because Crockett doesn’t know how but we are getting better at using the tools provided to us through training. Andy has been there for us in coaching each step of the way. Our neighbors are even noticing and commenting on the difference in Crockett.

The word, even in all caps “DIFFERENCE” would be an understatement. Our very anxious, stubborn, non-obeying 1yr old boy Doberman Pincher is now a different dog! Andy literally transformed him. Examples: Andy took our boy into Home Depot (as Andy took a video) and he stop right next to the giant scary Halloween inflatables, and our boy just sat and did nothing. In the past, that would have FREAKED him out. Our boy also walked past many people, and the sounds of tools, and other commotion didn’t phase him . He followed all Andy’s commands without fail. Our boy will now sit, come, lie down, stay, not jump, and can be off leash with recall. Andy sends weekly video on progress and sometimes extra to give updates. A personal touch; our boy turned 1yrs old while in Andy’s care, and he, his wife, and kids sent a picture and video of our boy in a birthday hat, and them celebrating his special day. I mean wow who does that! Andy is literally the best in town (trust I’ve tried others). If you want your dog in a happy, healthy, and safe environment while learning to do the things you need improvement on, look no further!!! Our family can’t thank Andy and his family enough for helping our boy!!!

So I brought two dogs here at the same time he gave me a wonderful discount super helpful. I am not wanting to go without my dogs. They are my world and he made sure to send me pictures and keep me at ease the whole time he knew exactly what was wrong with my aggressive dog before I even said anything I knew it had something to do with her bad anxiety and he pinpoint it out exactly and he was just so amazing so understanding the whole time I truly recommend this place 1000 times over here 100% knows what he’s talking about your dog is gonna be so safe there and it will not be sad. It will actually be super happy so absolutely 100% recommend this place.
